I was challenged putting it together, even though it’s simple, I didn’t quite understand the photos. This allows the yarn to unwind at the same rate as you knit or crochet – meaning a tangle-free, easy knitting or crochet experience! I have never been able to knit without having to pull out yarn from the ball of yarn without stopping to pull out a couple of yards of yarn. The yarn stays clean, my tension is consistent, no fighting to pull the yarn and it’s compact enough to travel. The only suggestion I have would be to offer a larger size for larger skeins of yarn (like Caron one pound).

Just place your ball of yarn on to the yarn holder and with a magnetic strip it will dangle freely allowing you to knit or crochet easily as The Wool Jeanie gently spins. Not only does it help us stay more organized but you can add multiple skeins of yarn especially when micro crocheting. The Spindle is the part that holds the ball of yarn and hangs by the Magnet allowing you to knit or crochet easily.The Wool Jeanie is also easily flat packed, all the parts easily dismantle so you can pack it up and take it with you.

Just keep in mind, when I purchased, I did not realize it was a magnetic attachment at the top to create the spinning effect, so if you were hoping to use it for larger, heavier cotton skeins (the cardboard tube cones/bulk cotton yarn purchases) it won't work for that.If needed, the Wool Jeanie can be easily disassembled after use to allow for easy transportation and storage. The Wool Jeanie will arrive flat-packed, with illustrated instructions on how to put the different parts together. I also bought the crochet hook kit and they are so nice,(especially the rubber handles on the crochet hooks! If needed, the jeanie can be easily disassembled after use to allow for easy transportation and storage. Having spare spindles are fantastic if you wish to have multiple colours on the go, so you can just change the spindle when required or if you are doing multiple ball projects.
