Pairing the headphones with the GSX300 is easy, but make sure you have the latest drivers installed. The earcups are nearly bare; besides the boom mic and a large circular volume dial, there aren’t any external buttons or switches. Epos has a new gaming flagship in the H6PRO, and it takes the core concept introduced with the Epos H3 headset but buffs it up a little.With the GSX300, not only will your computer audio be upgraded, but you’ll be able to use the EPOS Gaming suite.
A slim, detachable microphone boom arm and a sleek lightweight headband offer exceptional comfort and convenience. Overall, besides the differences with each variant that’ll come down to personal preference, there’s very little to complain about when it comes to the H6Pro’s sound design. With this adage of gain, the bass delivers a more prominent sub-bass, adding texture and rumble to many different sound design elements of games.As a result, feel free to choose a headset based on your favorite color, or one that matches your system of choice. The headband is covered in a lovely material that is pleasing to the eye and soft on my big cranium. If you're taking your headphones out and about or you're sharing a space with another person, the closed-back pair works a treat in blocking out the hustle and bustle of the wider world. She also loves checking out new gaming accessories like iPhone controllers and has her ear to the ground when it comes to covering the next big trend. Unfortunately, the headset’s 2-axis design isn’t as flexible as it should be, resulting in an uncomfortable fit.
There were comfortable on my ears and didn’t push into my head, but after a few hours, they did start to put pressure on my neck. This might not be an issue for everyone, but for me at least, despite having memory foam covered cups and a somewhat flexible frame, the H6Pro was very uncomfortable to wear.There are two cables it comes with, but to connect the H6Pro to the GSX300, you’ll need to use the cable with two 3. It impresses me that the H6Pro was able to stack these elements on top of each other without any major compromise. The EPOS H6PRO is the best looking headset I’ve seen yet; the Racing Green colour is bold, while the Sebring black and Ghost white colour options are more subtle but just as stylish.
Its response doesn’t require brightness to express a lively timbre, so you won’t have to worry about harsh frequency content.Below that is where the headset’s cables connect – either a PC cable (that splits into the green/pink headset/mic plugs) or a 3. I was actually impressed by how wide the H6Pro can go, with its ability becoming most apparent with music. What this means is that, as long as I’m in party chat on a PS4/5, I can separate chat from in-game sounds. Green is usually a hard color to get right on tech, but it looks really good here and makes me feel like a subtle Loki Variant when I'm wearing it. I should note though that doing this won’t always translate the fidelity of the sounds in the same way.
