Writing this post was a lot of fun for me since I love comparing items to see which one is superior and, ultimately, which one triumphs. In other words, this RCA input can be connected to an available analog source and a vinyl turntable. This speaker leans slightly towards the warmer side, which means you’ll enjoy a rich and dynamic sound that really emphasizes the bass response. If both of the models didn’t meet your expectations, then here are other reviews like Klipsch RP-260F, KHO-7, and Sony SSCS3. When paired with the Tractrix Horn-Loaded LTS Tweeter, it provides speaker efficiency highest in its class.

Not sure if you’ve been able to test the phono preamp in the Klipsch R-51PM, but do you think I’d have the same issue with the sound when using those with my turntable?The max volume with the turntable is pleasant in my small room, but there are times it would be nice to have it just a tad louder. Although the R-41PM speakers could verge on the strident at high volumes, in general terms they produced an open and airy midrange which allowed the lead vocal the freedom to roam around the stereo image, giving it a grand and significant presence.

The Micro USB interface on the left is used for firmware upgrade, which is also different from the previous generation R15PM. In terms of sound performance, R-41PM’s high-frequency power is sufficient, soft, and non-stimulating. Klipsch R-51PM, this model is only available in black, the overall design retains the retro charm but adds today’s fashion sense. The frequency response measurements for the S1000MKII were the best of any of the speakers we tested, varying by only ±2 decibels, which is why voices sounded so natural.Compared with R-15PM, it has a larger horn opening, and the improved radiation angle and bandwidth can provide better coverage angle at lower frequencies, which is helpful for the extension of medium and high frequencies. Without sacrificing a single specification from the older model, the newer Klipsch R-51PM set breezily enhances the users’ experience. Generally, the most troublesome aspect of active speakers is that the control panel is located on the back, and it is not quite convenient to adjust the volume and switch the input.
