It’s a fun little roller-coaster that you start to appreciate because of its flaws. Thank you for reading this book, and once again, I appreciate all the love, support, and kind words that everyone has given me. For the patience and trust you had in me with this story. This has been the darkest story I have written, and Theon was a character who was not meant to be just a hero. He had committed sins, some of which will forever remain. Yileyna, our innocent yet naughty Yileyna, where do I start? She was a young girl who, in a way, was infatuated with Theon, unable to see anything more than the love she felt for him. They both grew, both changed for the better, and only then were they able to truly be with one another. I am happy that I was able to pen this book the way I had envisioned it.

The take on romance within this story is unique in the sense that it develops its own form throughout the novel, building itself piece by piece until we get a normalized rendition of romance.

Yileyna isn’t particularly extraordinarily written, per se, though she is one that sparks my interest every time she does something. She has a sense of realism to her, and her tragic past adds depth to her character exponentially. Yileyna then remembers Theon, her crush, and Charlene’s bodyguard screaming out to her that her parents had died. Yileyna, engulfed in her negativity, wonders if she would ever shift into her wolf form, despite her nearing the age of seventeen then.Sexual expressiveness is a common trope within this novel. At most chances possible, there will be a somewhat erotic remark made. This was seen first with Yileyna and Charlene going to the coast and swimming and Yileyna thirsting over Theon. Though, eventually, the author just gave us fully-fledged erotic scenes. While they aren’t necessarily badly written, their placement varies. Early on in the series, we immediately know that it’s going to be a slow start that develops into its own thing once we get a primary objective. Though, the story makes sudden twists and turns that you don’t really expect. I wasn’t able to guess that we’d get a one-night stand chapter only a little bit after getting introduced to the wholesome friendship of Charlene and Yileyna. Then it’s time you were taught a lesson. Theon.” Theoden commanded dangerously, I glared up at both him and Theon. “You’re right.” Theon said coldly, his eyes boring into mine and crushing my heart in the process. The concepts of a werewolf world apply, though they’re never executed or fleshed out in the beginning and middle chapters. The author really wants to take their time with developing the characters… and giving us erotic scenes.
