Jennifer is left the home that belonged to her grandmother when she passed away and because she understood her grandmother, she wanted to keep the home and get it fixed up to keep the Inn open for visitors! She just didn’t realize how much work it would take but was bound and determined not to sell, especially to the neighbor next-door! We never saw the big picture that made up the theme of the story - the marketing campaign for the wedding line. Very little time was spent surrounding this innovative idea they had, then just like that it was gone and never heard from again. How did they end up doing the marketing for the wedding line? The part about Wyatt was excellent and kept me reading the book. I loved Lincoln’s friendship with Wyatt and watching how they navigated the hardships from their past and present but mostly how they showed their brotherly love for each other. When Eliza shows up one morning at the Seventh Street Wired Cup location for a cup of coffee and to chat with her favorite barista, Wayne, she is appalled by the way his manager speaks to him, and when she has finally heard enough, she gives that manager a piece of her mind. Cole is taken by surprise when he finds a customer inserting herself and her unsolicited opinions into his meeting, and he soon finds himself steaming mad. But when Cole discovers Eliza’s talent with coffee, he knows she has what it takes to bring excitement to their brand again. Cole and Eliza dance around their attraction to one another as they work to develop Wired Cup’s new menu. They are hot and cold, but eventually, their shared love of coffee and their attraction to one another lead to passion. They eventually find a happy ending. I've read most of the books Ms. Snow has written and this is only the third book I've given a 1 or 2-star rating. I usually love her books. In fact, the last book I read by her, "No Fair Lady," I had this to say in my review: Stunning, incredible, breath-taking, masterpiece.

Many of Dallas’s younger folks eventually move away to bigger cities, but until last spring, Dakota had hoped to stay. Jay Foyt broke her heart and forever crushed her dreams of a happily ever after when he failed to show up on their wedding day. Being abandoned and humiliated is hard to live down in a small town. She no longer believes in love, so she is working on her career. She pounced on the opportunity when presented with a job offer in Seattle, but the pay leaves something to be desired and the work is not rewarding. She is therefore looking for something better. Dakota loves writing, and like her distant relative, she gravitates toward poetry. Being related to Edgar Allen Poe has long led to jokes, but she shares in the dark vibe of her ancestor. She won the Young National Poet’s award while in high school, and she hopes to eventually find more time to pursue her poetry. Now that I have finished reading, all my earlier thoughts were spot on! The tension between the characters as well as the building suspense of the plot(s) is magnificent! Not once did I lose interest at any time. You could say I was held captive in the very best ways! The antagonism this couple faces is both outward and from within. Miles lets the guard down on his heart, but not with his trust. Jenn is all in, open and honest, trusting and bursting with happiness and love. While Oh My 😱, how I loved Miles, he is such a wounded bear, lashing out because he is in pain all the while being a real softy inside. Until Jenn scratches his armor, but not enough at first. Until showing Miles how he has been wrong about them together, by not trusting her enough to open up the can of his past wounds, even if they are still very raw because of a pang of unwarranted guilt. He damaged what could be.

I should have known it was Dracula, one again demanding I invite him into my dumpster fire of a life.” Oh sure, he is flawed, so determined to protect everyone, he pushes them away and by doing so he hurts them.I didn’t like she played with another’s heart because she was afraid of her own feelings, she should act on them or not but she does not add someone else into the fray. I am intrigued by Wyatt Emory and Meadow and fingers crossed there will be a book about them in the future. I would love to know more about their story and where Wyatt fits in with the Heart’s Edge crew. I love that series and it’s one of my favorites. I also would love to see if there will be a book about Eliza.

One Bossy proposal by Nicole Snow is a full-length enemies-to-lovers romance. It has office banter, pastry mischief, slow-burn spice, plus one bossy suit who might stop stomping around long enough to realize he's falling hopelessly in love. This is a looooong book filled with lots of interesting writing and plot points about the two main characters to create a well developed story which I will love re-reading. I highly recommend reading this book and finding more by this author. You won't regret it!. OMG! To say I love this story is an understatement! What a ride! I am not going to spoil it, but this is one Fantastic Read! Every time I read Nicole Snow’s romance books, I know I am in for an emotional rollercoaster.

Another fantastic story in the Bossy Grumps series. In this one we meet Miles and Jenn. Her friends call her Jenn, he has to call her Ms Landers~~until he slips and calls her kitten. She calls him Dracula, he's beyond bossy and a true workaholic. And gorgeous!!

If you're a fan of slow-burning, enemies-to-lovers office romance stories filled with drama, sizzling chemistry, humor, snarky banter, tension, passion, smoking hot sex, that all wraps up with a HEA, then One Bossy Proposal is the book for you. Once again I find myself beginning my review before finishing. I'm only three chapters in and I'm already ensnared and enthralled so much that jotting my thoughts down as I go is a must. These characters are just that engrossing to read! Not to mention the beginnings of the plot and I just know the interactions between Jenn and Miles is going to increase right along with the tension and chemistry. I'm on pins and needles with the anticipation! After the middle, it was a little fast paced for me after H punched out h's ex... we didn't get to go too deep into the angst, which left me feeling disconnected. To Jenn, Miles comes off as a pushy bossy HOT rich guy and that ignites her snarly side. These two are like two bulldogs constantly going after each other. Jenn goes toe to toe with Miles. She is the force of nature Miles needs in his life. He doesn’t communicate with people he just demands and never explains. In addition, he has been burned by a really bad relationship and suffers from guilt and the fear of being taken again. Miles doesn’t trust himself with the feelings he has for Jenn.Dakota and Lincoln’s “battle front” starts at their local coffee shop and hand grenades are thrown into the field when Dakota buys the last cinnamon roll before Lincoln has a chance to buy it. Yep, high stakes here people as these two go all out ballistic over the last cinnamon roll😂😂 The "witty banter" was in fact, not witty at all. It was a bit cringe-inducing and to be honest, if I had a new hire speak to me the way Poe continued to speak to Lincoln, she would've been fired the first week. I tired of the cinnamon roll jokes in the first two chapters as well as the constant references to her last name, Poe. close loving relationship with Lottie and Miles is the only one that can truly make Cream and Coffee, Gram’s Dobermans mind. He finally finds himself hiring her marketing expertise to help whip his marketing team into shape and revive Pinnacle Point’s sagging tourism trade. They find themselves drawn to each other with her beginning to thaw towards him and then him turning cold and retreating behind his icy wall of restraint. As they begin to find themselves truly falling for each other an enemy from his past looms and Miles refuses to open up and let Jenn help him with what turns out to be a massive smear campaign from the ultimate “woman scorned”. Months and tears and Jenn’s dogged investigation skills help them to finally reunite. Miles Cromwell is a loaner. He is a big bad CEO for his family’s billion-dollar company Cromwell-Narada. But he spends as much time living in his paradise on Pinnacle Pointe. Miles loved his next-door neighbor Lottie Risa, she understood him, was his only friend, and now she’s gone. Lottie left him a note telling him that her Granddaughter Jennifer would probably want to sell the property and if he wanted to buy it….and he did, he should move fast. Gram also left Jenn a note telling her the history of the property and her hopes that Jenn would want to re-invigorate the bed and breakfast and live there. Such a crafty little old match-making lady!
