About this deal

The new composition merges berries, flowers and chypre notes to create a more intense and sensual interpretation of Gucci Guilty fragrance from 2010. Like the men’s Absolute edition, Absolute pour Femme blends notes of Goldenwood® with natural extracts of Nootka Cypress. It includes note of aromatic plant with bitter citrusy scent called Monarda didyma.

It is very similar to Florabotanica. Vetiver and rose. Florabotanica has mint, this one has cypress, and it may be a little woodier and more fruity, but they are similar. So, who would like this fragrance? Let me just say that no matter what you read here, it won’t prepare you for this unapologetic creation. On sent très fort la mûre qui le rend juteux / fruité et puis ensuite arrive le cyprès qui vient contre balancer le côté fruité pour le rendre profond intense et non enfantin! Dans l’assèchement on peut sentir une Rose rouge croquante.

First tested this one in 2018 and finally got a bottle in 2021. Even after all these years of knowing and testing this fragrance, it's still hard to describe this one. I know two things: I love it and it's beast mode.

Guilty is dangerous. No average guy can wear this one. This stuff is truly masterful. My coworker said it reminded her of a funeral or a morgue. To be completely honest, this is a gothic fragrance. It’s tone is uninviting, dark, dry, macabre. people who like Encre Noire will absolutely like this. For me, the term means something daring, something that should have never hit the shelves, because it would never sell. Unique perfumes, unique smells. I don't have many examples here, Fahrenheit, Encre Noire and Costume National Homme are the only ones that pop into my mind at the moment (maybe a couple of Guerlains too and the Tom Ford private line, but that's another story). I get the medicinal smell, not as unwearable as people think it is. I'm a relatively young guy and I still think it can work on a younger crowd. This stuff is absolutely amazing, no pun intended.

Gucci Guilty Absolute is a stunning blast of leather and cypress that is amplified and harmonized by the notes of patchouli and vetiver. Gucci Guilty Absolute is in the same ranks. Niche in a designer bottle. A completely new scent DNA. Bold and daring. Raw and animalistic. Being truly niche this is not meant to be for everyone. Some may even find it offensive or repulsive. If you just want to smell good this is not for you. This is for some one who has personality, not just wanting to fit in with the crowd. Projection and lasting are not great, but it does give me a scent aura, and I would not mind reapplying this one throughout the day, as it is unoffensive. In the terms of longevity, this fragrance lasts around 6 – 8 hours on colder days with rather average and restrained sillage and projection. Damn. I can't believe myself. This fragrance has me questioning the meaning of life. How can something so weird be so amazing? I know we all went through the realization as kids that cherry pops taste like medicine... and cherry pops are good, but medicine is not. I know we've all been to funerals... cologne is good, but embalming fluid & bandaids are not... This thing smells exactly like a funeral... like holy ****. I can't describe to you how interesting this fragrance smells.
