Is a lone Quint something you are still interested in? It's anticipated that he'll arrive in March. Those naughty toy minions at NECA are at it again! They have released new details and images for an all-new 8″ clothed action figure of Matt Hooper from Steven Spielberg’s JAWS. Richard Dreyfuss’ young oceanographer is one of the most beloved characters in cinema history, so when NECA announces a new action figure version we stand up and take notice. And how big is that going to be? Cue, that's a 20 footer, 25 jokes aplenty. But, in all seriousness, this shark is set to look pretty big. Here is an image of it in the design stage earlier in the year. We know, right? From Halloween Kills, the thrilling sequel to 2018’s hit Halloween movie! This screen-accurate Michael Myers action figure stands in 7″ scale and comes with knives, bat, bulb, skull mask, Halligan bar and interchangeable head and hands… and he’ll need it all when the Strode women set out to end his evil reign of terror.

NECA's Quint was a triumph, but now the action figure and collectable manufacturer have released a second member of the Orca's crew, Matt Hooper.

Featuring the official likeness of Kurt Russell, Ultimate Outpost 31 Macready stands approximately 7 inches tall and is fully articulated.

As you can see from the release notes above, the figure is estimated to release sometime in September. Sadly, as of press time, NECA is yet to confirm a retail price set for the figure. We also get a second Hooper head, so he'll at least be able to scare himself until we get a Ben Gardner's head.

Collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year. Going by first glance, that almost bow-legged stance isn't screen accurate, which may also be irksome to a few. No doubt there will still be plenty happy to part with their summer dollars for it.
