About this deal

The character growth with Johnny and Shannon was tremendous. The trials they went through, the sacrifices they made, the people they became, and the path they have before them was such an awesome ride. I absolutely could not stop reading.

you know those type of long ass books where you're satisfied but you still want more? yeah, that's how i feel reading this book and it's rare for me to feel this way. it's a perfect contradiction, really. My heart is Gussies though. He's a weirdo with no filter, a great friend with a good heart. I'm sure he and Claire will be grand. Although in book one I didn't care too much about her, she was a great friend to Shannon and the love of Gibsie but I didn't feel too much towards. This book though Claire is the sun she had a moment to really shine and now I'm impatiently waiting for their story. johnnyshannon will always be famous for paving the way for the rest of the Boys of Tommen couples that will follow. my precious babies. i love them so much and now i'm more than excited to dive into joeyaoife's story even though i know they will break my heart. As I have already said, I loved all the characters, especially Johnny and Shannon's friend group. Especially Johnny (of course). The slow build of his and Shannon's relationship (while sometimes frustrating for someone used to reading a LOT of fast-moving smut romance) was SO worth it in the end. Blue balls and all. anyways, I can't wait to read Joey's (Shannon's older brother) book and i DEFINITELY cannot wait for Claire and Gibsie's book This book showed a whole new side to Johnny, and it was well worth the time it took to get to it. I loved how he was able to figure out the priorities of his life, as well as how Shannon and his life at Tommen fit into it all. He made some tough decisions, but ultimately, I was so excited for the path he chose.

I adored all the superfluous dialogue. Because, yes, while some of it had NO point whatsoever and did nothing to move the story forward, again: I loved spending more time with these characters. Following a devastating injury that has left him sidelined and stripped of his beloved number 13 jersey, Johnny Kavanagh is struggling to hold onto his dreams. Lost, insecure, and desperately seeking comfort, he sets his sights on unravelling the mystery of the girl with the midnight-blue eyes, who haunts his every waking hour. I adore this world & the found family this series has brought into my life and I don’t know what I was before I read this’ You can't scare me away." Her blonde hair pillowed around them as she whispered, "You're mine, remember?" Also, the romance we were waiting for is finally here!! The slow burn in this series was insane but so worth it.I loved that Shannon and Johnny are always talking about their feelings. There isn’t miscommunication and I LOVE that. I wish it was like that in other books with “adult” couples.A love story that is still pretty average but it's really not Shannon & Johnny's fault🤡 How you gon put absolute legends like Gibsie & Claire in a book with our main characters and think Shonny (another shitty ship name) will ever come close to being THAT epic??? Shan?’ I felt something poke at my eyeball then, Joey’s fingers, I realized, as he lifted my lids. ‘Shannon, come on, talk to me.’

Every few seconds my vision went blank and I knew that meant I must be drifting in and out of consciousness. I also knew that this was a bad sign, alerting me to the fact that he had hurt me worse than before. There were Grammer issues but that didn't stop me from reading this beautiful story, I just fixed it for Chloe while I continued to read .....On to Saving 6 Easiest 5 I’ve given to a book in such a long time. Was this book long? Yes. Would I have changed anything? Absolutely not. Every single part of this book was utter perfection. I loved her more than I knew what to do with. I could see it all ahead of me; my life, my future, my career, and her. The girl I knew I would play the leading role in all of it. I'd thrown it all in with her and I had no doubts. Not a single one. She was teammate now. My best friend.❜Keeping 13 had it all. Everything you could want in a perfect book that pulls you in at the start and spits you out at the end with a book hangover.

Well, we feel the same about you,’ Tadhg growled, hand shaking on my shoulder as he stared at our father. ‘None of us want you!’ I don't have a dog – that was my mother you puked on!" Feely snapped, sounding outraged. "And it was last Christmas, not a million years ago, asshole."

Customer reviews

This guy.. holy shit he is mental 🤣 I have almost every single line of Gibsie highlighted. He's that funny. Every time he opened his big mouth: If you ask me, I don't know her personally, but I think she lets all the intrusive thoughts in her head win and includes everything in the book except stuff that is actually necessary (read: character development, bonding moments, good dialogue). And she loves going in circles! You won't believe the number of times certain scenes are repeated in this book - truly blew my mind. Dad took a step towards her and Mam automatically cowered away, hands shooting out in front of her face. Get him out of my sight!’ Dad roared, turning his attention to Mam, who was hovering slightly apart from both of them. ‘Now, Marie!’ Dad bellowed, pointing a finger at her. ‘Get him out before I do away with the little bastard.’ Without the strength of his hands holding me up, I automatically slumped forward, only to sag heavily against my mother.
