Paramount+ now has all Frasier's eleven seasons in high definition to better conform with the 2022 blu-ray set of the series. The characters grow and change enough to make revisiting the entire series in a shorter timespan a rewarding endeavor, but remain grounded enough in their cores that episodes from different seasons can still be viewed interchangeably. Much like The Dick Van Dyke Show didn’t know what to do with the Sally Rogers character’s personal life other than having her constantly pine for unattainable men, Frasier doesn’t always know how best to utilize its strong female leads outside of their relationships with men. Just as smart is when they choose not to show something offscreen; a long-running gag with Niles’ wife Maris is made all the more funny by never showing her onscreen.After Miller finished the music, lyricist Darryl Phinnesse suggested the title as they were things that were, like Frasier Crane's patients, "mixed up".

Frasier ran for 11 seasons and, despite not producing a new episode since 2004, Grammer has suggested that he would love to bring the sitcom back to our screens. Characters like Bulldog and Noel Shempsky (Patrick Kerr), with their frequent examples of sexual harassment, would probably be sent to H. Despite his aforementioned qualities, he is brave, caring, and well-meaning, which, to his loved ones, more than makes up for his eccentricities and quirks. Grammer points out that very little of the Frasier Crane of Cheers carried over to Frasier, as his family history was changed (though this was later adjusted); the setting, his job and even the character himself changed from the Cheers predecessor, having to be more grounded as the central character of the show so the other supporting characters could be more eccentric.If the entire series was shot that way it'd be, IMHO, the best presentation for a BR release as it should please both WS and OAR camps since nothing's been cropped to make the 16:9 image. Grammer has been Emmy-nominated for playing Frasier Crane on Cheers and Frasier, as well as a 1992 crossover appearance on Wings, making him the only performer to be nominated for playing the same role on three different shows.
