I am using a Mercusys (TP-Links subsidiary) MR70X AX1800 router. I have 600Mbps internet here and I play multiplayer FPS games online like Call of Duty MW2 and I am using a CAT 6 cable to connect my computer to the router.I’m a day into trying an AX68U (mainly because of a shortage of other routers AX58/82/86U). Smart Connect seems to put everything that’s 1 room away, except the Xbox, onto the 2.4ghz band (which is probably only slightly sooner that other routers I’ve tried). This is giving me 50% or less of my 200Mbps connection. Haven’t played with separating the bands yet but at least gaming is better than the AX50. Many people associate Garmin with watches made for professional runners and fitness geeks. Few know that the company is also doing a lot of work on developing watches that cater to the needs of a larger audience. Their new Garmin... The AX50’s wireless specifications meanwhile are promising, if not exceptional. Its 5GHz radio is rated at 2,402Mbits/sec with the use of 160MHz channels, and 4×4 MU-MIMO helps compatible clients maximise their transfer speeds. In terms of size, the TP-Link Archer AX50 is identical to Archer AX20, having 10.2 × 5.3 × 1.5 inches or 260.2 x 135.0 x 38.6 mm in width, depth, and height.

Connect your devices to the newly configured wireless networks of the router and enjoy the internet! Saving clients' battery power requires clients to also support the 802.11ax Wi-Fi standard. Actual power reduction may vary as a result of network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors. Better/more antennas help with transmit/receive, but reminder that the transmit power of your devices downstream, and their antenna, are limited as well. The AX50 has a serious unresolved flaw in that it fails to detect all wifi connected clients and in my case, lists some on my wireless clients as wired (eg, ecobee thermostat). Other TP-Link users have also complained about this issue with other models, but apparently TP-Link Archer has ignored requests for a fix: Like the Archer AX3000 and most other TP-Link routers, the Archer AX50 comes with a standard web user interface.

Press and hold the button until all LEDs turn on to reset the router to its factory default settings. Intel en het Intel-logo zijn handelsmerken van Intel Corporation of zijn dochterondernemingen in de Verenigde Staten en/of andere landen.i have the ax50 and a 300mbps internet, however both on LAN and 5ghz wifi are not able to deliver the 300mbps subscription that i have and only give up to 200 max. Anything that you can recommend doing? Reply The AX50 proved to be reliable, passing my three-day stress test with no issue. It has about the same range as the AX3000 and can handle some 1800 ft² (170 m²) of typical residential settings with good Wi-Fi signals. The way Wi-Fi works, your mileage will vary. This router may not support all the mandatory features as ratified in the IEEE802.11ax specification. Further software upgrades for feature availability may be required.
