About this deal

I can confirm that the focus peaking and magnification responds as expected on Olympus E-P5, E-M10, and E-M10 MkII bodies when using the Lumix 100-300mm. the depth of field is extremely shallow and it's easy to blur backgrounds in portraits – and this lens has been designed to produce super-smooth bokeh too. But the 75-300 is a killer travel lens and I've been using it on 10 day trips to the SW for 6 years and never wished I had a different lens.

We measured the amount of vignetting in jpg images produced with the Olympus 75-300 mm in combination with the Olympus E-M5.

I have used it in earnest for 3 weeks now and am struggling to get sharp images out of it either handheld or on a monopod.

It doesn't really matter what aperture you set the lens, when it's present, it will show as purple-green fringing in areas of high contrast. In this time he shot for clients like Aston Martin Racing, Elinchrom and L'Oréal, in addition to shooting campaigns and product testing for Olympus, and providing training for professionals. I shot a series of test frames in the "low-silent" (electronic shutter) mode with the two lenses mounted on Olympus E-M5II and E-M1III bodies with the IBIS set to the lens priority mode and the Panasonic's OIS enabled. I would like to know how the Olympus lens works on the G9, I can't find that much information on it.The downside is it's not at its sharpest when shooting at its maximum focal length, while you can't expect an f/6.
