About this deal

We must load and map our individual samples (sound files) in our software synth (TRG drum module in NanoStudio, for example). In the event that Third Party Software is supplied, you agree to be bound by and to observe any terms and conditions relating to the use of such Third Party Software. update: Annotations are forever gone since YouTube cancelled them in 2019. A lot of valuable on-screen information is forever lost. I am tight with spare time now and cannot re-do entire video with voice-over and extra material. Maybe one day…

Korg's own iElectribe and iMS20 apps sport a 'nano 2 native' mode, which will assign the controls appropriately when you plug in a nanoPad. Just be sure to disable this if you want your custom mapping to remain! The X-Y pad can be used to control multiple synthesizer parameters. In addition, the new "Touch Scale" function lets you intuitively play phrases on the X-Y touchpad, just as on the Kaossilator. You can choose from sixteen different scales, and specify the root key and note range to ensure that your performance stays within your song. The "Gate Arp" function, borrowed from the Kaossilator Pro, transmits note data based on tempo; Tap tempo and tempo sync are supported. Combined with the Touch Scale, the Gate Arp allows you to play tempo-synchronized phrases and rhythms simply by stroking the X-Y pad or playing the pads. Gate Arp creates rhythmic 'gated' notes at a specified tempo (set via tap tempo or synced to MIDI). You hold a pad and use the X/Y pad to control the rate - ideal for glitchy effects or basic drum rolls. By engaging Touch Scale mode, you can play gated melodies on the X/Y pad.The Korg NanoPad2 is a compact, slimline MIDI controller that comes equipped with 16 dynamic performance pads that are velocity-sensitive, as well as an X/Y touchpad and, is highly-portable making it a great companion for traveling musicians and music producers. The compact design is feature-filled with four banks of pad assignments giving you excellent versatility and makes it perfect for both studio and on-stage applications.

We must edit individual samples (“sounds” or sound files) from our continuous audio recordings (cut/trim silence + fade-in/fade-out + normalization) with sample (audio) editor such as Audacity, Wavosaur, SoundForge, or many DAWs which come with built-in (integrated) audio editing capability today. STAGE 3: Sample Mapping There are four bank select buttons, making a total of 64 'virtual' pads. With each able to trigger up to four notes at once (ie, chords), the nanoPad has melodic potential aplenty. Customer Reviews

I am a bit worried about the sturdiness. It's good to lay the pads flat on the table. I feel like if they're uneven, the whole thing bends when you hit the middle pads. When I was setting the NanoKontrol up initially (the wrong way), it was responding to input on the meter but wasn't doing anything to the actual program. After setting it up properly, I also get the activity on the meter but now it functions as it should. Korg reserves the right to make modifications to the Licensed Program and to the support services set out in clause 7 of this agreement (referred to in this agreement as “the Services”) without prior notification to you.
