About this deal

Before we dig into the specific details of each style, I’ll note that these are barefoot shoes. That means all of them have a wide, foot-shaped toe box, and the soles are thin, flat and flexible. The Active Outsole

New VIVOBAREFOOT Gobi Boot Winterized is a versatile lace-up boot featuring faux shearling lining. While they might appear tough and chunky, they feel soft and flexible. Although not as soft as their Autumn Gobi boots, they still offer good softness for winter boots (getting even softer with wear) and are gorgeously made. The Primus Lite Knit is a fantastic minimalist running shoe that can easily double as your go-to gym shoe or everyday footwear to pair with casual and athletic outfits. Its upper is made from breathable synthetic materials, providing comfort throughout the day. Vivobarefoot uses Strutfit to recommend a size based on uploaded a photo of your foot, and it recommended a US7.5 for me, which I found accurate. If you have wider feet and are at least a size EU40, opt for the men’s version as they’re a little wider. Primus shoes tend to fit those with narrow to medium width feet and more of a slope shape to the toes. Vivobarefoot Primus Styles In its 2022 annual report, Vivobarefoot laid out 10 overarching goals regarding its products. These include designing all its products for circularity and getting rid of non-regenerative virgin materials. In essence, to have a fully regenerative and circular product line-up. Overall, I’ve enjoyed the Vivobarefoot Primus Asana for both daily wear and lifting weights. I think it can be tough at times to find barefoot shoes that look casual but also perform strongly in the gym.I took the insole out when training in these and they did a pretty stellar job when it comes to overall stability and lifting support. Their Active Sole performs pretty identically to the Primus Lite III’s sole, so I was a fan of this feature. The Magna Lite is another remarkably lightweight hiking boot by VIVOBAREFOOT, perfect for spring and summer hiking adventures. The upper is made from a stretchable and breathable thin mesh material, which has been treated with a water-resistant coating. However, it’s important to note that it won’t keep the rain out, but it can handle a bit of morning dew. These shoes are made from 100% vegan materials, and the best way to clean them is to let the dirt dry, brush off the mud, and then wipe them down with a damp cloth.

Additionally, this shoe can also work for casual workouts, and more specifically lifting weights. This shoe has a similar sole construction to the Vivobarefoot Primus Lite III which is their most popular shoe for training. Since the Primus Asana does run a little longer, to begin with, I don’t think you can go wrong sizing down, especially if you’re nervous about having too much room at the end of your toe box. VIVOBAREFOOT sizing recommendations and the methods for choosing the best size for you have changed a little over the years, but the internal length of their shoes remains the same. I consistently wear size EU 42 in all their styles, with a foot dimensions of 26.3/10 cm. Most of their models are true to the size chart, unless stated differently under the model description.Sizing & Fit: The women’s Primus Asana is best suited for narrow and medium-wide feet, while the men’s version is ideal for medium to wide feet. It’s perfect for those with average insteps and ankles, but due to the stretchy and adjustable uppers, even people with slightly lower/higher insteps and skinnier/stronger ankles might find a good fit. They are quite low in the toe area, so if you have more prominent toes, make sure there’s enough room around them. VIVOBAREFOOT Addis Overall though, I enjoy the versatility that comes with the Primus Asana. The fact that it can be worn for multiple seasons despite being designed for warmer months is a perk of this model and adds it to this shoe’s value. Vivobarefoot Primus Asana Sizing Don’t get me wrong, I like the Vivobarefoot Primus Asana, but if the price makes you wince, I wouldn’t break the bank for this shoe. Also, I’d suggest looking around for Vivobarefoot coupons to help bring their price down a bit. Performance

The Primus Asana is a wonderfully soft and flexible casual women’s barefoot trainer, made from natural materials to promote natural movement. It’s versatile enough to go with almost anything, from joggers to jeans, and can even be paired with more casual dresses. I feel like the Vivobarefoot Primus Asana is somewhat of an exception to this and it delivers a rather strong performance in both verticals. For daily wear, this shoe is comfortable and the upper looks good with multiple outfits. Novus and Novus Mid are new models introduced in 2023, featuring a unique combination of a rugged outdoor sole and urban upper design, giving them a distinctive and stylish look. The Novus is available in two different heights for both men and women. The Mid version takes a little more time to put on, and the organic laces require a bit more effort to untie. In the Vivobafrefoot Primus Asana, I think most should be safe going true to size in this model. The length of this model does run a little long, but I don’t think it’s enough to warrant sizing down a full size in this shoe.Sizing & Fit: Geo Courts are available for both women and men. Overall, Geo Courts feel slightly wider than most VIVO models. The women’s model is best suited for narrow to medium-width feet but can also accommodate medium-wide feet. The men’s models are wider than the women’s, and if your size falls within the range where both models are available, you can choose between two different widths.
