About this deal

After a few weeks of using this, I have noticed my skin dramatically improve. I didn't have bad skin in the first place, but the maskne is real these days, and this has definitely had an impact on reducing that.

The texture of it is nothing like other facial cleansers that we've used in the past as it's a balmy, moisturising formula that feels gentle, natural and removes make-up really easily. The products are good to use and do not leave any greasy residues. They do an excellent job of cleansing and moisturising the skin. The Daily Cleanser foams nicely and doesn’t dry the skin out and has a quite nice but subtle smell.

Those with dry skin might benefit more from using oily or balmy products, whereas oily skin works well with natural-based cleansers. But a lot of cleansers are made for all skin types, so you don't always have to worry about specifics. The Dermalogica cleanser brightens whilst cleansing, working with glycolic acid and jojoba seed oil to moisturise your skin. Overall, we (or should I say the teenager of the house) have been using the PURIFIDE products for just over a week now. Whilst they haven’t cleared up her skin yet there is a noticeable improvement and seem to be working (which she is delighted with) and she reports that her skin feels softer. She also has sensitive skin and hasn’t had any kind of reaction whilst using the PURIFIDE range. Whether your skin is dry, sensitive, oily, or somehow all of the above, you need to select a gem that helps you out on a day-to-day basis.

Side Effects

The only downside? This is SPF30, rather than 50. I prefer SPF50 in the summer months, especially if I’m abroad. If you’re fair and use active (retinol, acids and the like), I’d recommend that you do the same. The Cetaphil Daily Defence SPF50 is a good one to try, though it’s definitely heavier and a little greasier than this one. Sometimes, we now use it as a make-up remover and face wash all in one because it's expert at melting away make-up, leaving you with a fresh complexion that feels squeaky clean. Whilst they are quite expensive products for the amount you get, they do seem to be doing an excellent job of getting rid of the spots she already has and preventing other breakouts. By helping to cleanse her skin and reduce and prevent breakouts these products are also helping to relieve the anxiety caused by the breakouts. For a teenage girl having blemish-free skin is big thing and does help with confidence and worry around spots. I’ve only tried this SPF in the autumn and winter months, so I can’t comment on its sun-protecting properties. However, it contains both UVA and UVB protection, so I’m confident it’s doing its job in that department. When outbreaks are happening you use the REBALANCE products (PURIFIDE Daily Cleanser, Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 and Microbiome Equalizer), soothing, gentle balancing cleansers and moisturisers that support a strong, healthy skin barrier and its functions by hydrating, protecting and balancing the microbiome (skin).
