It has a pleasant spongey texture when you apply pressure on it with your fingers, but it is not as soft or as squishy as the Yonex Hi Soft Grap. I have finally come around to product testing the Yonex Super Grap even though it has been my go-to overgrip for a large majority of my 15+ years playing badminton. Amongst intermediate and advanced players the Yonex AC102 Supergrap overgrips are extremely popular as their stickiness when playing gives the player excellent control and finger power off the grip. The sales person recommended these grips and I dont think they are any better than other grips Ive used.

In comparison to a thicker grip, like the Yonex Hi Soft Grap, thinner grips allow for players to play a more control-oriented game. For some reason, the black ones seem to deteriorate about 30 faster, based on how often I had to replace them.

Unlike some that get slick or cause blisters as they wear, these grips actually do a great job right up until the point they literally fall off the handle. UPDATE] The Yonex Super Grap was my go-to grip after experimenting with different grip products throughout my badminton career, I’ve surprised myself in admitting I have a new favorite!I will change the overgrip frequently during the summer or during tournament play, so the 30-pack is convenient and cost-effective.
