We were already fans of Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” suite, so it’s super fun to see it in book form. With each review, I provide a Cleanliness Report, mentioning any objectionable content I come across so that parents and/or conscientious readers (like me) can determine beforehand whether they want to read a book or not. But i must admit that I was annoyed by the brief, tinny clips played repeatedly throughout the day as my children joyfully pressed the buttons over and over.Also available from the Story Orchestra series : The Magic Flute , I Can Play (vol 1) , Carnival of the Animals , The Sleeping Beauty , The Nutcracker , and Four Seasons in One Day . The art is gorgeous and the story is engaging, so I think that this book will really charm young readers. The Swan Lake is beautiful, with the enchanting story adapted for kids and the symphony music clips on each page. At the back of the book, find a short biography of the composer, Camille Saint-Saëns, with details about his composition of Carnival of the Animals. This book was donated by the publisher for my Stags Read project and will be given to a student in my community.

Content surprises are super annoying, especially when you’re 100+ pages in, so here’s my attempt to help you avoid that!
