The small excerpts and snippets were really interesting at times, but for the most part I came away wishing I had spent my time going through the actual plays and sonnets slowly rather than reading this.

A fun, beautifully put together collection that's a worthy addition to any Shakespeare fan, longtime or new. Some correlate to the day itself Of course March 15th would not be complete with the quote "beware the Ides of March," but other days are filled with delightful bits of prose that are not as well known but equally perfect none the less.

So this is one we'll put aside for now and revisit in a couple years, after we've gotten through most if not all of Shakespeare's works.
