Both the cast and crew claimed they heard supernatural noises while filming the coven scene at the end of the film. were great in the sense that they really added to the book’s slightly supernatural atmosphere, but I still definitely would have preferred more chapters. Each of these women finds themselves and who they are as the story progresses and I found myself completely sucked in. Kylie learns that right before her grandaunt Jet died, she discovered an ancient book of dark magic that contained, among other powerful hexes, one that could break curses. When Jet learns from her own reflection in a library mirror that she has only seven days left to live, she leaves for Manhattan for a last, secret tryst with her longtime lover, Rafael.Although Dunne told Vulture that he didn't "give the curse any power," he held his own exorcism to cover his bases.

I read her previous two books and was so excited to read this adult fantasy book because fantasy is my favorite genre. After Gillian and Sally fight, Sally breaks down and confesses to Gary, only to realize he is the impossible man from her childhood love spell. Practical Magic is a 1998 American fantasy romantic drama film based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Alice Hoffman. This urban fantasy book about secret societies, witches, vampires, and more is a blend of heart-pounding action, historical fiction, and romance with the perfect mix of fantasy as well.

I just found out today that there’s a 4th book, I have the first 3 so I’m excited to find a copy to go with the rest.
