Speaking of drawings, the artwork throughout is incredible and I love all the references to famous works of art!Little Bit, as ever, surprises the others with her extensive knowledge of many subjects and the orange and monotone illustrations are just brilliant. There's a fine line between banter and mockery, and unfortunately most of the time poor Rockwell just gets laughed at. This is a hugely entertaining second instalment of the Peanut's adventures in the magical world where all creativity has its source, and I can't wait for the finale!

Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do. The first book in Rob Biddulph’s breathtaking new trilogy, and his first aimed at slightly older readers, heaves with imaginative ideas and brilliantly original characters (the useless superhero Table Guy, whose sole power is making tables fly, is sure to be a firm favourite). Famous paintings all over the world have been disappearing by disintegrating, just like drawn objects do when they are in the real world and not Chroma.Sie haben perfekt zum Inhalt gepasst und sind wirklich für Klein und Groß ein absoluter Genuß und zum staunen! I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. The characters are very 2D, there are a lot of cliche moments and turns of phrases which makes reading kind of dull at points. Peanut Jones muss man einfach gern haben und so sind uns die Protagonistin, ebenso wie ihre kleine Schwester Little-Bit und ihr Freund Rockwell ans Herz gewachsen. Um zu verhindern, dass er dort alle Kreativität zerstört, macht sich das Trio auf den Weg zurück nach Chroma.

I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! Mit dieser Reihe rund um Peanut-Jones ist uns ein solcher Treffer gelungen und wir sind sehr froh diese fantasievolle Kinderbuchreihe entdeckt zu haben! This episode of the Peanut Jones saga is packed full of art references and the illustrations are, unsurprisingly, excellent.
