Not all of the brushes are appropriate for tracing and outlining, but the extra brushes are a ton of fun. This one isn’t a cinch to use—it takes some practice to get used to—and you might need the help of the manual to put it together.There’s no feathering or bleed-through on most types of paper, making them perfect for drawing finer lines and accurate images of things like foliage or hair. You can choose a corner style to control the corner shape in lines and choose a line cap style to change the appearance of a line’s endpoints. To create a cuttable outline for devices such as plotters, vinyl cutters and Print-Cut devices, you need to assign the appropriate predefined color (usually CutContour) that is specified by the device manufacturer.

Many drawing pens have interchangeable tips, but you won’t have to fuss with all that if you opt for Tombow’s Dual Brush Pens. Like other brush packs on this list, not all of the brushes in this pack are great for tracing and outlining. In the Brush Studio, you will see the 2 brushes, one being the primary and the one below is the secondary brush. To select a brush go to the “Brush Library” which is the brush icon on the top right side of your toolbar.

The free Inkscape program has this, and with thicker outlines, you can get amazing effects on your project this way. Even though all brushes can be scaled from small to large, I like the range that the monoline brush gives. With a single smooth stroke, this brush pen can create fine to broad lines, thanks to its durable bristles. The reason I chose this pack as our grand finale is because it offers both pen and pencil brushes that you can use for both tracing and outlining.
