About this deal

After contacting the seller and receiving another one, I finally had a good one and was very pleased. The overall dimensions of the D7000 are very similar to the older D90, but the heavier, magnesium alloy body shell and thicker rubber on the hand grip lend it a noticeably more 'serious' feel.

Whether you want to make large prints or crop tightly in an image, the D7000 delivers the resolution you need. Unlike the D90, the D7000 can also maintain AF during live view and movie shooting, thanks to its AF-F ('full time') AF mode. It omits however, the pre-optimised scene modes for shooting portraits, landscapes, night scenes et al found on the likes of the D3100 and more family friendly alternatives. The D7000 offers numerous professional-style features over the D90, such as magnesium alloy body construction, weather and moisture sealing, a 2,016-segment color exposure meter, built-in timed interval exposure features, 39 rather than 11 focus points, dual SD memory card slots, virtual horizon (in live view and viewfinder) and compatibility with older non-CPU autofocus and manual-focus AI and AI-S Nikon F-mount lenses (including an electronic rangefinder with three-segment viewfinder manual focus indication) as well as tilt-shift PC-E lenses.megapixel SLR camera and is powered by Nikon EXPEED 2 image processing technology mainly because it is designed to be used for professional photography with a little bit of in-depth knowledge in the art of photography. MP resolution sensor, 6 frames per second continuous shooting, 1080p Full HD video, and an abundance of customization options place this camera at the upper end of the mid-range segment of the market. However, the Canon 60D and other Canon products are quick, but they have far less keepers as the AF module is not as accurate as the Nikon family of DSLR’s.

Dedicated buttons for altering metering and exposure (+/- 5EV) sit just in front, whilst buttons enabling one-press access to ISO and image quality settings sit to the left of the LCD at the back. The Nikon D7000 comes with the Expeed 2 processing engine which delivers high performance with minimal noise, improved color reproduction, and efficient image-video processing. million pixel effective resolution, derived from a Nikon DX format (as opposed to full frame FX format) CMOS sensor. What is more, the camera is protected by magnesium alloy top and rear covers and has durable sealing against dust and moisture so it is prepared for even the most testing of situations. This way, the renowned 3D Color Matrix Metering II delivers exposure results that are faithful to how you see light and shadow interplay, even in difficult lighting situations.Very subjective to speak to responsiveness as it depends greatly on the skill of the photographer, subject matter, time of day/night, etc.

After the incredibly accurate 2,016-pixel RGB sensor reads a scene's lighting information, the D7000 cross-references what it sees with imaging data from a large selection of real-world shooting situations.Like many of our site readers, RajeshBhattacharjee is a self-taught photographer who connected with other photographers online and in person to help improve his craft. Fast continuous shooting, reliable autofocus and great battery life are just three of the most important factors. You then hear the internal mirror mechanism flip out of the way, and can then press the red record button to record – so the capture of movie clips isn’t quite the instantaneous process it might be. For Kira Morris, it was the isolation and natural beauty of life in Antarctica that inspired her to take up photography.
