The great thing about the LawnMaster VBRM16 is that the manufacturer has carefully combined the blade width and run time to ensure the mower covers up to 100 square metres in one go. SAFETY: Using the camera and ultrasonic sensors the mower detects and avoids obstacles such as garden furniture. I like LawnMaster as a brand in general, so I already knew that I would be impressed by the LawnMaster CLMF4841E and it didn’t disappoint. While there were a couple of minor drawbacks such as the lack of a rain sensor and the potential of having to adjust your lawn boundaries, these certainly wouldn’t prevent me from investing in the LawnMaster VBRM16. Moreover, this powerful machine is perfect as an alternative to petrol and you have the advantage that it doesn’t give off any nasty fumes or requires regular and costly maintenance.Our great value lawn mower range includes cordless lawnmowers, electric lawn mowers, robotic lawn mowers and hover mowers. With the LawnMaster VBRM16, you will need to keep an eye on the weather and if the heavens open, you’ll need to go out and bring the mower in.

There’s a button on the control panel which you can press after popping the mower down in whichever area needs touching up. With the strength of a traditional solid grass box at the top and the ability to fold flat thanks to the fabric sides, this is a reliable grass box that offers great convenience. Another nice feature on this nifty compact lawn mower is that it comes with dual starter levers on either side, which translates into much easier manoeuvrability. Over the past 10 years, I've been testing and reviewing a wide range of lawnmowers, including battery cordless, electric, petrol, and robotic mowers.One of the things I noticed when I was setting the LawnMaster VBRM16 up was that it comes with a safety key. With the LawnMaster VBRM16, you don’t need to blow your life savings to get a robot mower with a fantastic range of features and that does an excellent job of cutting. It features a 41cm cutting blade, 42 litre grass collection bag and is designed for lawns up to 450m². That said, the mower does have 2 bigger brothers, the LawnMaster CLMF2437G, with a 37cm cutting deck, and the biggest brother the LawnMaster CLMF4841E with a 41cm cutting deck and 4 batteries supplied.

Also, if you don’t want the hassle of complicated assembly then the LawnMaster is definitely worth considering. Using the camera and ultrasonic sensors the mower detects and avoids obstacles such as garden furniture. The VBRM16 OcuMow™ is designed to mow once or twice a week during daylight hours in dry weather, cutting and dropping the grass clippings on the lawn as a natural fertiliser. For best performance and to encourage healthy lawn growth use 60mm for longer grass and after regular mowing, gradually reduce the cutting height to your desired length. Having recently tried out the younger brother of the LawnMaster CLMF4841E, I knew that it was likely that I would be just as impressed with this model.It goes without saying that any cordless lawn mower is practical, thanks to its freedom of movement and ability to be used in locations without a power source. I tested the LawnMaster VBRM16 on my front lawn and was really pleased with the results and how well this machine worked. I found that emptying the grass collection bag was easy, thanks to the well positioned handle, and there were no obstructions preventing the grass cuttings exiting the bag. As well as having 2-in-1 mowing functions, which I’ll detail later on, this excellent compact mower also comes with a generous choice of 6 cutting heights. If you’d prefer not to have your lawn subjected to the constant to and fro of a random mower, then the Bosch Indego S+ 500 is a best choice.
