It wasn’t long before the author’s wondering mind drove her to produce the draft for ‘Holy Island’ in 2015. Certainly, understanding the relationships between the characters, the trials they have encountered in the past and the manner in which their bonds have been tested can make the DCI Ryan series more enjoyable. Ross chose to self-publish her first novel instead of going the traditional publishing route, and the decision paid off.
