Completing the package, Polaroid has thrown in five physical lens filters in a neat little barrel-shaped pouch.Other creative options include the bundled screw-on lens attachments – one for close-up shots and a ‘Splitzer’ which splits your shots in two so you can get creative. As the photo pops out and gradually develops before your eyes, you become part of a mesmerising process, immortalising a fleeting moment into a piece of memory you can hold. There’s also a Bluetooth button, a strip of indicator lights and, across the bottom, a film ejection slot. With its fantastic wide-angle lens, remote control, manual controls and retro design, it’s the best instant camera for experimental photographers. With instant cameras, you're creating more than just images; you're creating memories, experiences, and tokens of the past.

While picture quality could be better, this is a fun camera to use and, because you can choose what you print, you shouldn’t waste any shots and you’ll also get a digital copy to keep. The only real downside to the SQ1 is that there are no creative modes or even a timer, and there’s also no ability to turn off the flash.With each shot, you get more than just a photo; you receive an immediate, unique memento that captures a moment in time. The rear of the camera contains the eyepiece, power button, joint flash and exposure compensation button and an LED display that tracks your remaining shots. The Now+ is a marriage of vintage and modern camera systems, pairing Polaroid’s iconic styling with some 21st century conveniences.

At the side, you’ll find a micro-USB charging port and, on the base, a standard 1/4in tripod socket.Also new is the ability to assign shortcuts for the Tripod, Manual and Portraits modes, which is a big time-saver.
