It's not quite as sleek as the Oral-B iO Series 9, and it's less advanced motor means it's considerably louder, but the Genius X strikes a good balance. The Genius X boasts 3D cleaning action which combines the oscillating power of bristles moving back and forth at a maximum of 10,500 movements per minute with the brush head pulsating at about 48,000 movements per minute. The Oral-B Genius X doesn't have the advanced frictionless magnetic motor of the iO Series 9, which means it's a little noisier.
