At Metacritic, which assigns a normalised rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, the album received an average score of 81, based on 31 reviews.Agree with the previous comment, the packaging for the first 2013 pressing is thicker/sturdier and overall much nicer. Not only did I like all the tracks on each, but I could also actually connect with a lot of the songs. A full decade on they all sound as good as ever with the Surrey boys' production prowess still standing out. A remix of the album, titled Settle: The Remixes was released on 16 and 17 December 2013 in the United Kingdom and United States, respectively.

Regardless, much like Daft Punk's latest effort, Settle is an album that brings some sorely needed intelligence back to joyous dance-pop. I think the black standard from 2013 sounds a bit clearer but I’m not the best at noticing the sound details. Sonikku's debut album 'Joyful Death' features vocals from LIZ, Little Boots, Chester Lockhart, Douglas Dare and more, Fans of Disclosure will really love this record.
