About this deal

The garden at St Dunstan in the East is one of London’s most unusual green spaces and one of the capital’s best quirky attractions. So I wanted to make this list to inspire fatigued Londoners to explore beautiful places within London itself. Prosecutor Duncan Penny KC said it was a ‘pre-meditated, targeted and vicious attack on an unarmed woman’. What to drink: Our server said the Hazelnut Sour with Frangelicotasted‘exactly like a Kinder Bueno’ and it did!

The basement of 100 Shoreditch hotel is a moody but friendly little listening den, with vinyl only DJs and cocktails courtesy of Ryan Chetiyawardana aka Mr Lyan.

Inspired by the gardens of French royal palaces, this park is one of the best green spaces in London. When to visit: The snack menu would make a handy pre-show supper, but the intimate lighting and gentle hum of jazz mean this is also a nice spot for a digestif. This post lists everything from the best wildlife walks and woodland trails to enchanting flower beds and grand parks. Planning journeys ahead of time using real-time travel information will be essential to avoid unexpected delays and changes, such as short notice temporary Tube station closures. These are the 50 places we'd recommend to a friend, because we love drinking in them and have done many times over.

When to visit: Time your trip for when thedownstairs space is hosting live music or literature events, with folk from Faber Social, Trojan, The Quietus and Rough Trade Books oftenin charge ofproceedings. Stations and stops may also become temporarily busier due to planned works or events, which often happen at weekends. What to drink: See if you can handle a Hot Lips; made with mezcal, worcestershire sauce, pickled hot peppers, spiced tomato juice and smoked salt. Look beyond the pink umbrella in your drink for full-on flavour and watch the barmen at work for a masterclass in mixing.

This 183-acre park encompasses a great deal of royal history, demonstrated by the historical buildings on-site, including the Queen’s House and The National Maritime Museum.

What to drink: The Bloody Martini (vodka, vermouth, crystal clear coffee-filtered tomato water) is set to become their signature, but for something sweeter, the Figlet is tasty too. When to visit: There's live jazz most nights,so plan to swing by whenyou'll hear something swinging. London is an exciting city on the surface, filled to the brim with history and the architecture to match, and the best contemporary activities have to offer too.We are working with our partners to keep our city moving smoothly and to ensure that everyone who needs to get around or is planning to attend the memorial events can do so safely.

The ‘World’s Best Bar’ Dandelyan makes way for a concept from the same award-winning, cocktail-shifting team. If you would like to change your settings or withdraw consent at any time, the link to do so is in our privacy policy accessible from our home page. It is one of the city’s royal parks and is located right next to the famous Hyde Park, with Queensway being the nearest underground station. What to drink: Dive in deep with a flight of mezcal, or prepare to be dazzled by the Mirror Margarita – a totally see-through take on Mexico’s classic cocktail.Given the likely demand on public transport within London during this period, passengers may wish to consider walking to their final destinations within the capital, if practical and possible.
