I've always loved how Jill and Puck brought Guts's humanity back to the surface after being stuck in such a devastating and harmful state for so long. Guts is in a quest for revenge after his comrades were betrayed by Griffith and sacrificed by the God Hand. Schierke begins to teach Farnese magic and dampens the effects of the sacrificial brands on Guts and Casca via magical seals. Albion ingests the dying Demon Child and uses its body to reconstitute Griffith into a physical form.The series has also spawned a whole host of merchandise, both official and fan-made, ranging from statues, action figures to key rings, video games, and a trading card game.
