About this deal

The transmit volume is about average and there is a little too much treble but unlike a lot of other radios it doesn’t tend to overdrive any part of the voice too much so your speech is pretty clear even at long ranges. Upgraded Antenna: The 21cm high gain antenna has better stability and performance compared to the old antenna. Combined with 8W high output power, the dual band two-way radio can even extend the talking range up to 11km. gone into manually change to reset all on both radios seems to working ok but one radio have to plug external mic to communicate with the other 2 go figure. If you have older kids, they will probably enjoy learning the different features and you don’t have to stress over them being rough with these units.

Baofeng GT-3TP Mark III 8W Dual Band Radio

Even though GT-3TP comes with dust caps over port openings, the unit is not rated to be waterproof or water resistant. But then something funny happened, I started using the Baofeng GT-3TP and found it was actually a pretty good radio! The unit is probably not going to fail if you accidentally splashed it with some water but I wouldn’t consistently expose it to water. Display, Dual-Standby Frequency Range: 420-450MHz,144-148MHz Output Power: 4 /1Watts 128 Channels 50 CTCSS and 104 CDCSS Built-in VOX Function 1750Hz Brust Tone LED Flashlight. Frequency Range: 65-108 MHz (Only commercial FM radio reception), VHF: 136-174 MHz (Rx/TX), UHF: 400-520 MHz (Rx/TX).Because my sample came directly from Sainsonic’s head office, I think that this particular radio was originally intended for another region. I have also seen a photo of the GT-3TP car charger melting to someone's center dash console, though I also can't remember where I saw that - it makes me not want to put the charger in my truck though. Unlike a super premium brand, you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars if you need to get a bunch of these radios.

BAOFENG GT-3TP Mark-III 8W/4W/1W High Power Dual Band Two-Way

Tried programming Dad’s on his Windows 7 64bit PC with the Baofeng software and it was a none starter, but as soon as I tried it with Chirp on my Ubuntu powered Laptop, well what can I say other than Chirp and Linux won the day! Hey honestly I used gt3_vip program file downloaded thaat on my computer after downloading chirp opened up the gt3_vip file and only down side is you gotta change it to English setting every time. I've come to realize that this radio was built from after-market parts, assembled from a Baofeng radio, and re-branded as Sainsonic. If your product turns out to be a defective one with physical damage within 30 days from the initial receiving date. Parece que en campo abierto tienen un alcance de más de una milla, pero yo los quería para usarlos en zona residencial y me funcionaron cuando mucho a unos 500 metros, por lo que los devolví.It supports a large number of manufacturers and models, as well as provides a way to interface with multiple data sources and formats. With its small size, easy to carry the feature, and stylish appearance, GT-1 is suitable for various wireless communication industries and is deeply loved by outdoor sports enthusiasts. Setting Chirp on the 9-6-2014 daily build to a uv-5r worked on the current firmware, but it some how disabled the speaker on the older firmware. I also can't use my BF-F8HP battery with this unit simply because the GT-3TP's body is too deeply-inset to accept the battery (I'd like to be able to interchange the batteries since the GT-3TP and BF-F8HP's internals are the same).
