The pump is tiny but more powerful, effective and efficient than even the hospital pumps that I've used. As a downside, the letdown suction is extremely powerful, which may be unpleasant for certain users. This feature is excellent in a manual pump as it makes pumping more comfortable without an instant sharp tug that can be very painful. Both of these electric pumps are hands-free and really have paved the way for modern moms – proving that traditional electric breast pumps aren’t what many want or need.Another note: the pump comes with 2 24mm flanges and this size may not be perfect for all people pumping.
