My skin has no bad reactions and the finish, although not matte, is something that I was suprised. I tend to avoid the dewy look and always go for matte finishes but this doesn't really make me look oily. Do take note that this is not sweat proof. I also do not reapply as I work from afternoon to midnight so I do not really have continuous sun exposure. Also note that I am from a hot, humid country so the climate on your area may affect how this plays on your skin. Other reviewers have had a better time with this cleanser so please don't be put off from trying it, but if you find it far too drying you're not alone!
