Stanley doesn’t mean to hurt anyone, but he doesn’t belong in the sea. (Who knew you could feel sorry for a plastic bag?) Eventually, Stanley is rescued from the ocean and put to better use where he can no longer be a danger to unwary sea creatures—a happy ending for everyone.
