Im already thinking about wintertime & considering the idea of one of the Pipsqueak stoves . I can t do a link to them as hopeless with computers & for the reason im unable to put up a photo either . Could this be more suitable & less expensive . It looks tidy enough in the 12 pics on the listing & with a diameter of 24 cm it ll fit & itll be clean It’s easy to use, but some people do have trouble maximizing the amount of heat they get out of it without it chewing through a lot of wood. That also becomes annoying simply because you’re feeding wood into it constantly. However, the fact that it has the rear flue exit, and because of its heavy-duty construction, the Pipsqueak overall gets a very good rating. Controls are straightforward, and the top cooking surface works well for a small kettle. We found it very difficult to control the Pipsqueak's burn rate with the air controls, though. Temperature is most easily regulated by limiting the amount of fuel used, which results in high-maintenance fires and short burn times. it is a really cute stove standing about 50cm high if not a bit less. i bought mine from canvas and cast who do a deal with tent, or a deal with the flue or you can just buy the stove... am now consiering getting one for my conservatory which is perrishing in the winter as there is no heating in there. That, and the fact it’s difficult to find for a reasonable price in North America! May be the older Pipsqueak could be bottom air flow controlled with opening a few mm the ash tray drawer (I do it sometimes)
