As a result, outside of Google’s Pixel line or Motorola’s One series, you’ll struggle to find a handset with cleaner, more future proof software than the Nokia 8.3 5G at the moment. There's a lot to like about the Nokia 8.3 5G. Of course, it is one of the most affordable 5G compatible phones. It also boasts a large display and eye-catching design. We love the 'Polar Night' finish on the rear. The rear camera array on the Nokia 8.3 5G comprises a 64MP f/1.89 main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with an aperture of f/2.2, a 2MP macro snapper and a 2MP depth sensor. Before moving on, it’s also worth mentioning that the 765G is bundled with a 5G modem, which is handy if you happen to live in an area that’s getting an upgrade in the coming months. Nokia says that this is the world’s first “global future-proofed 5G smartphone” too, supporting more 5G frequency bands than any other smartphone to date. This isn’t something I’ve been able to test, unfortunately, since I don’t have easy access to an area with a reliable 5G signal. Still, an average on-screen frame rate of 49fps in the GFXBench Manhattan 3 test isn’t bad by any stretch and it should do the job for most titles on the Play Store.
