The new Cazcabel distillery will be overseen by the Vazquez family, who have been trusted for 4 generations to grow and harvest agave for some of the world’s most famous premium tequilas. It was essential to expand production capabilities to meet the brands growth and to facilitate further opportunities for product development and innovation. Inspired by a love of New Orleans, St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur is an elegant liqueur. It is made by roasting ¾ light roasted and ¼ heavily roasted Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans.

On The Palate As a result of the gin boom, consumer’s willingness to pay for premium spirits and explore new and unique flavour expressions is at an all-time high and Cazcabel is reaping the rewards, particularly through its flavour range. Inspired by Don Cazcabel, the brands mythical Mexican Curador who uses only natural ingredients from the land to make his tequila, Cazcabel champions serves with simple mixers such as Tonic, Pineapple Juice and Ginger Beer. These simple serves are designed to introduce consumers to tequila in new day-time occasions and approachable flavour formats to drive incremental category growth. The light and refreshing non-alcoholic Mexican-style lager is crafted with sea salt and fresh lime puree, coming in at 75 calories per can.

The elevation of the distillery ensures that the agave are well hydrated and the mineral and nutrient rich soil in the area allows the agave plant to grow larger than anywhere else in Jalisco.

Best Served Cazcabel Tequila is created in our distillery in the town of Atotonilco El Alto, located in the highlands of the Jalisco mountains in Mexico. The Vazquez family are renowned for their expertise in agave farming and production of premium Tequila. As fourth-generation Tequileros, they have honed their skills and techniques over the years in the meticulous process of agave cultivation and harvesting to produce high quality Tequila in an environmentally efficient way. Once harvested we use autoclaves to steam our piñas, this has many benefits including being able to regulate temperatures which allow for a steady even cook resulting in a Tequila with a clean soft profile. Born in the highlands of the Jalisco mountains, Cazcabel is crafted by the Vazquez family, who possess four generations of expertise in agave farming and tequila production. The tequila is made using seven-year-old, 100% Blue Weber agave, with each bottle emblazoned with a depiction of the Jalisco mountains. With the upcoming completion of Cazcabel’s brand home and distillery in Atotonilco El Alto, the expanded production capacity makes it the ‘ideal moment’ for the brand to enter the US market.
