About this deal
Advertised performance is presumably with the included Wurkkos unprotected 3000 mAh 18650 battery. All testing was performed with an Acebeam protected 3100 mAh 18650 battery, which is believed to use a Sony VTC6 cell. Mode
There’s a couple of headline features with this light: Anduril 2 and USB-C charging with powerbank functionality. Anduril is one of the only name brand (if you will) flashlight control systems you are going to come across. With just one button you get control of a mountain of custom options, and so far, it is an easier system to customize than any other I have come across. Two stand out features which really work well for this light: This was my first Wurkkos light, which I never got around to reviewing as I had bought it specifically to stash in a get home bag in my wife’s car. It was recommend to me as a great option, easy to use, solid, cheap and with a great LED. It spent about 3 days in that get home bag before I decided to put a slightly more expensive light in the bag, so I could use this light myself. Operating the FC11 for a long time on high brightness modes will warm the flashlight up. This is normal.
Provided below are a few runtimes. The claim of 1300 lumens is almost certainly for the 4000K version. It doesn’t seem that Wurkkos provided specs for this very warm and higher CRI edition. Both of those factors will mean that we can expect the output to be less, and that’s what we see in fact. I have a bigger issue with not speccing the 2700K option, than for “being wrong” or “misleading” necessarily. Oh, and btw, can someone point a good place to buy 18650 battery in EU? Sorry I know this was posted somewhere, but I can't find it now.. One remark regarding your runtimes and the following Modes and Currents: Wurkkos used a 3500mAh battery for their ANSI/NEMA FL1 Chart (see manual “Notes”) instead the delivered 3000 mAh. The flashlight has a voltage indicator built in to the main switch. It will be green if your battery is at or over a 30% charge, red if you are under 30 % and the red will start to flash if a battery change/charge is required.Size wise there are a lot of similar lights to the FC11. Length and diameter wise the Convoy S2+ is basically identical but my S2+ is the UV model so not a great comparison for beam shots. My Thrunite TC15 is about 7mm longer and about 1.5mm larger in diameter.
