About this deal

So it seems that after all, while the “till death do us part” myth, may hold true in a generalistic sense, among wolves at least, it may not be in its strictest form and could change depending on practical or natural phenomena.

Sadie felt progressively more dimensional in book 1. In book 2, she was narrow-minded. And eventually seems to lose all common sense... I'm looking at you book 3. The idiotic things she would say and want to impulsively do by book 3 had me wanting to DNF this book series, but I forged ahead. I have read books from this author before and always liked them. This book is a cliffhanger. If it hadn’t been for that, I would have really liked this story. If that doesn’t matter to you, I would recommend this. Like other male wolves, an alpha wolf marks their mate by smelling the reproductive scent gland and the cheek pouches. It’s important to note that an alpha wolf will not always mark their mate but if he is desired by other wolves, this might be the only way of showing his dominance over them. When it comes to mating, the alpha male and female typically have priority, but subordinate wolves may also engage in reproductive behavior, especially if they perceive an opportunity or if the alpha pair fails to reproduce. I loved the family element (both romantic and family of origin/nuclear). This goes for whole series

On her quest to uncover the people responsible for murdering her father, Sadie soon discovers that something much more sinister is at play. The vampires appear to be searching for something, and she’s determined to find out what it is. A good mother-father relationship directly affects the mental stability and healthy growth or raising patterns for children. Since they are very vulnerable at birth, the mother will feed them with milk and stay with them for their first month of life. During that time, they will not leave the den. Once strong enough, they will emerge from the den with their mother. So, in time, as this alpha pair is the only pair that mates and breeds, this alpha pair also came to be known as the “Breeding pair”.

Especially after mating, they remain affectionate and close to each other. Because of their affectionate demeanor toward one another. Wolves have been known to have long-lasting attachments to their mate. Scientists believe that hybridization of species may benefit their survival as it increases genetic diversity. The mix of genes from different species may make them better suited to adapting to changing environments or dealing with environmental stresses such as habitat loss or climate change. Isolation can lead to reduced genetic diversity, making wolf populations more vulnerable to disease and other environmental stressors. A very interesting spin on the fated mates, although the balance between becoming a triad and the murder mystery plot seems to constantly sway from chapter to chapter. There is a strange jumping around between both the perspectives and the character initiatives so it pulls a little away from the overall story. One of the main reasons why wolves – or perhaps any animals that mate for life – tends to be directly connected to parental care. This can be considered closely related to normal human parental care.
