As a globetrotting story that features most of the major Resident Evil characters (except, strangely, Claire) in prominent roles, Resident Evil 6 focuses on the C-Virus and the various attempts to spread and stop it. The continuing adventures of Ethan Winters are exciting enough, but we’d be lying if we told you we weren’t curious to see if other major Resident Evil characters and events will appear in the game. We’re also waiting to see whether or not the creatures we’ve seen in early trailers are still the product of some bioengineered threat or if Capcom is starting to dive deeper into the supernatural. Halo Infinite is the latest release in the franchise. It takes place after the events of Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Wars 2. The Banished are the game's main enemies, with Infinite taking place right after they wiped out most UNSC forces on Zeta Halo. Master Chief awakens three months later with a new AI companion known as the Weapon, and together they have to defeat the Banished and stop the rise of a new ancient antagonistic force on the ring.

Timeline is a turn-based strategy game where you can play through the human history from stone age to modern times. Interesting game.I would describe it as a puzzle game, rather than 'minimalistic management game simulating a network economy through space and time'. One of the biggest surprises at Microsoft’s X019 event was the announcement that the Yakuza series was finally coming to Xbox, and even more importantly, Xbox Game Pass. Halo 2 is often considered one of the greatest first-person shooters ever made with some even considering it better than the original. It directly continues the adventures of Master Chief, while also adding brand new gameplay elements that took the series to new heights. Some of this game’s plot details are heavily disputed, but Umbrella Corps essentially reveals that Umbrella was reformed/reworked over the years following the events of the original games. They’re now more focused on cleaning up the mess that Umbrella helped create, and they’re even working with organizations like the BSAA in pursuit of that goal.
In addition to Scarecrow and Arkham Knight, the supporting cast includes Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face, Robin, Commissioner Gordon, and Barbara Gordon.

With series newcomers in mind, these brief plot synopses contain only mild spoilers such as broad plot points and character introductions. 1. Batman: Arkham Origins Timeline scores well on the “Let’s play again” game meter because of how simple and easy it is to play. You don’t have to worry about set up time or remembering complex rules. Simply deal out the cards and start guessing where they go. And when one game ends, there are still plenty of cards left that haven’t been touched, so why not just keep going?
Its spot on this list is largely a technicality, but for the sake of accuracy, Resident Evil 3 does technically help bridge the first and second games. Resident Evil 2 The biggest tie-in to the rest of the franchise, though, has to be the appearance of Chris Redfield at the end of the game. Even though he looks different (which Capcom says is a result of new technology they use to scan actors), Redfield’s presence, the appearance of a Blue Umbrella helicopter, and hidden references to the BSAA all strongly suggest that Resident Evil 7 is at least honoring most of the major events that occurred until this point.
