About this deal

A good goal should scare you a little and excite you a lot.” Scary and exciting are two beautiful feelings that good end goals often bring out. Scary is a good thing because it means you’re pushing your boundaries—that’s how you take steps toward the extraordinary. Excitement signifies that your goal is genuinely close to your heart—not something you’re doing to please someone else or to conform to society’s Brules. The important distinction: means goals versus end goals I consider the Six-Phase the most important thing I do every day. It’s the number-one secret to my success and the most important skill I teach. I cannot emphasize enough just how powerful it is.” And the idea behind it is that you’re living in the now, while working for the future. People are usually unhappy because they confuse the present and the future. Don’t ever do that: you have more than you think already, even as you’re reading this sentence! Just as a programmer can program a computer to do specific tasks by understanding its code, you can program your life and the world around you to improve, enhance the way you live and the experiences you have in this lifetime. But first, you have to see this code. And that’s where this book comes in.” This book is a game-changer. This is a book that will change many lives because it takes into account everything that affects us as human beings and puts it into a system that anyone can use. It’s based on science and spirituality and the experiences of the most successful amongst us. Highly recommended. Love it.” —Arturo Nava, Founder of Logra Tu Dream Podcast

Vishen is unstoppable in his commitment to inspire humankind to a new paradigm. He is starting at the right place...the mind. I have no doubt he too will leave a dent in the Universe.” —Tom Cronin, Founder of The Stillness Project Just behind me stood Bill Gates, the owner of that home. One of the wealthiest men in the world and the legendary founder of tech giant Microsoft, he was chatting with his other young guests. Look at yourself in the mirror and say the words: “I love you”. Talking to yourself in the mirror is like speaking directly to your own soul—especially when you’re gazing at yourself in the eye. Exercise 2: Self-Gratitude (for Appreciating Yourself)Intellectual property is reserved for the authors mentioned on the books and the library is not responsible for the ideas of the authors LESSON 1: Our models of reality lie below the surface. Often we do not realize we have them until some intervention or contemplative Yet the sad truth was that I dreaded my computer engineering classes in college. What I really wanted to be was a photographer or a stage actor. Photography and performing arts were the only classes where I got As. But those were not acceptable careers at all, according to the rules. So, I gave them up for programming. After all, I had to be practical and realistic. Get good grades. Get a good job. Work the nine-to-five. Save my money for a healthy retirement. Do it right and I would be a "success."

This book contains a new philosophy of living and entrepreneurship. It’s controversial in many places, but if you are open-minded, this is the perfect book to read. Childhood indoctrination, authority figures, the need to belong, social proof or our internal insecurities. Law 2: I noticed this book based on the high rating on Goodreads. And this time I could not disagree with Goodreads more. Kay, Michael F. "How Your Money Mindset Can Improve You (And The World)". Forbes . Retrieved 20 May 2016. On that fateful day in the summer of 1998, I had simultaneously accomplished two things: first, the completion of a long, many-year journey, and second, the painful realization that I had been walking in the wrong direction the entire damn time.Due to MY OCD, I have to complete them and thus I get tons of things done and I remain perpetually engaged. Kensho is growth by pain. Satori is growth by awakening. Kensho is a gradual process that often happens through the tribulations of life. A relationship breaks up, but you learn from it and your heart becomes more resilient. Kensho is the universe giving you tough love.

End goals are often feelings. To be happy, to be in love, to consistently feel loving, to consistently feel joyous are all very good end goals. The three most important questions But over time, all of the nonsapiens, such as the Neanderthals, died out, leaving Homo sapiens as our prehistoric grandmother or grandfather. Now, you’re prepared for a recoding. First, bend reality by living in the present and working for the future – instead of vice versa. Then, develop the bliss discipline – or the blissipline. Finally, create a vision for the future which makes sense of your present. Become Extraordinary Yes he's successful. And yes he has an interesting life so far....so interesting he used mostly himself as an example in the book. Sometimes I also had the feeling he was taking revenge on companies who fired him by writing about them (several times) and how successful he became afterwards (dito). The intro starts with a promise this book won't take long to get down to business, compared to other books. After that, be prepared to read several chapters on what this book is all about (You will learn to blabla) before really getting into it. Of all the books I've read, this was the longest intro ever. The best stuff is found in the appendix. I'd like to start off by saying I WANTED to like this book. I really truly wanted to be able to read it and take even a tiny piece of advice from it and help improve my life. But, alas, by the 3/4 mark in the book i found myself skimming more than reading just to say I actually read it all the way through. If you are new to self development, this book is a nice intro. I liked the 6 phase meditation. But if you are a self help junkie like me searching for gems and hate repetitive (even subliminal) advertising, don't read it.

This’ll make sure you neither get unhappy nor lose sight of your long-term goals. When Vishen started focusing on his happiness right now and made fun a bigger part of his day, he not only stressed less, but even got better business results! Lesson 2:Focus on what’s called your reverse gap to practice blissipline. The author also cheats the readers with this title to begin with - The Code of Extraordinary mind - I was expecting this book to be in the lines of the TALENT CODE etc... i.e. trying to decipher how amazing people build their minds. So yet again, I think I should have spent some time researching the author and his profession before spending tons of time wasted on reading this book. How do you review a book that has potentially saved you from a lifelong struggle to find answers to personal questions or solutions to problems “conventional” human beings don’t have answers to? In a unique fusion of cutting-edge ideas, personal stories, irreverence, and a brilliant teaching style, Lakhiani reveals the 10 powerful laws that form a step-by-step process that you can apply to life to shed years of struggle and elevate yourself to exceptional new heights. As part of the research, the tribe members were shown a circular pattern of squares. All of the squares were green except for one that was obviously blue like in the image below:OK I was tolerant enough to accept that but then the book descended into ABYSS, HIS SOLUTIONS are USELESS. He was only able to identify the problem and that was it. A calling is your contribution to the human race. It’s something that helps us leave the planet better for our children. Kensho and satori Finally, if you can choose any model of reality you want and accept it as true—why not choose a model that suggests that you can literally bend reality to your wishes? Your habits, or systems for living, are how you put your models of reality into practice. If models of reality are the hardware of the human “machine,” systems for living are the software. They’re your activities and daily habits. Law 3: On top of that, with Blinkist Premium you also get personalized reading recommendations, offline access to all content, notes you can export to Evernote and you’ll be able to send all your book summaries straight to your Kindle.
