yeah, yeah. And Sean Harris's acting is just remarkable. And the use of lighting mirrors, the camera work is so good at evoking this thoroughly uncomfortable, and tense film, I mean, so much so that, particularly with it being I mean, kind of almost a silent film, it seems it would have been difficult to write this and not direct it, because of how much of its success must rely on the direction. It’s also worth noting that the March 2022 The Hunt update, which introduced the priority targets and prime hunters rules, won’t apply to this book – the writers of that update cleverly included a caveat that if a battletome or battletome update has a more recent publication date than March 2022, units from that publication may not be designated as either priority targets or prime hunters. Which is… honestly fine! Nighthaunt are in a much, much better spot than they were at the time. Despite the preposterous plotlines, from Steen ending up liquidised in a mug (he recovers) to a lunatic making a ‘bone bride’, the richness of the prose is hilarious. The humourless pretension of his alter-ego is at odds with the absurdity of his work in which no metaphor is ever ambiguous and no subtext knowingly deployed. Yeah, just some sort of humiliating, you know, yes. So. But there you go. Yeah. Not proud of not proud of it.

for the yard. Yeah. I'm blanking on the name. But I mean, a gun for George, for anyone who hasn't seen it, just just watch it in 17 minutes, it's available. If you like Goffman, ranky. And you like pulpy crime, then you're gonna have a good time? Spiteful Spirit lets you roll a number of dice equal to your general’s Wounds characteristic on any turn they’re injured, inflicting a mortal wound on each enemy unit within 6” on a 4+. Most Nighthaunt generals that see combat aren’t going to be alive there very long, and while it might be cute as a little bomb it still doesn’t meet the mark for us.

Yeah. Oh, I've I can see it's available. It's in. It's in Japan. It will be I can get that delivered to me in two days time, then yeah. Yeah, that is happening. Well, I did have a couple of questions from one of our patrons. Okay, yeah, go for it. Dan Howarth says, How has your approach to writing evolved over the years from something as hilarious as dark place to something as weird and bleak as possum and have your influences changed? Yeah, yeah. And I guess, too, I mean, when you're directing, as well as writing that affords you a lot more freedom. And I know that you've said before, that you think writers get far more respect when they're the writer and director? TIH 533: Joe Sullivan on Cemetery Gates Media and Publishing In this podcast, Joe Sullivan talks about Cemetery Gates Media,… These are much more exciting to us than the Grand Strategies, offering a range of tactical choices. We’re expecting at least one of these to be achievable every turn of the game, so all that’s left now is practice how to get the most out of them! Credit: PierreTheMime Units To his benefit now, the undead god of poetic justice is incredibly mobile, with Spectral Tether allowing him to move to 9” away from enemy units, allowing you to place your big hitter exactly where he needs to go. He’s still going to dominate the magic phase with eight casts and unbinds at +3 while he’s suffered six or fewer wounds (even more so than Teclis, which makes us very happy every time it happens), and he’s got a couple of utility tools that might mean he sees play. Invocation of Nagash heals or resurrects up to 3 wounds to 5 different units, and Supreme Lord of the Undead means every time you determine how many slain models return, return an extra 1. While this might seem hilarious to combo with Olynder and a Guardian of souls, you’re dropping 955 points into this guy and you desperately need bodies to hold objectives and keep him alive, so the fewer ghosts you have the easier it is for those units to be completely removed, becoming unhealable. Death Magic Incarnate is a superb command ability, giving +1 to ward rolls for a Death unit anywhere on the battlefield. Combined with Discorporate or a high native ward save and you’ve got an incredibly tanky unit, but we’re not convinced you’ll have enough of those units to still do well in the game.

made in life. There was no forewarning, there was no, you know, alert at all. No, I just went out and made lots of mistakes. And there you go like anyone else? The second half is the Q&A session, which he sets up hilariously as an interview with himself, though he reluctantly realises the limitations of that format and opens it up to hoi polloi in the audience. These are enormous benefits and will really change how the army plays. In the old rules your ghosts only got the 6+ ward save while within 12+ of a Nighthaunt Hero, limiting their ability to spread out over the battlefield. Now it’s just innate; you can use your various movement shenanigans to put your models exactly where they need to be without risking them losing their save.

Okay Well with that said here it is it is Matthew wholeness on dare says Hara Matthew, welcome to This Is Horror. Yeah. Well, I mean, as a huge Silent Hill fan, perhaps such as myself, you were very excited this week, when they had a plethora of Silent Hill announcements. They're remaking Silent Hill to finally they've got a brand new Silent Hill game coming out that will be set in Japan. So that's intriguing, because, you know, they're all set in America and then there's gonna be a new Silent Hill film, so And there's other games as well. But yeah, it's, A lot of players have at least the beginnings of Nighthaunt armies thanks to Soul Wars and the Mortal Realms magazine series, and there’s never been a better time to break out this un-boo-lieveably different army. Nighthaunt have gained a consistent ward save, vastly better battle traits, useful bodyguards, retreat and charge, more speed, more battleline options… It’s hard for us to find something that got worse for this army beyond some modest points increases. Admittedly, the army was in a pretty bad shape, but this book really feels like it’s in a good place in the game overall. Our playtesting against the other books released this edition suggests Nighthaunt are absolutely a podium contender, and with the number of overlapping buffs and unit options in this book we’re sure that generals will be exploring new builds and ideas right up until their next battletome. Looking forward to striking fear into the hearts of all the Mortal Realms? That’s the spirit!

Yeah. And archivists, I mean, watching, as you say, I mean, aesthetically, you can't help but think of those old Doctor Who episodes but then I mean, another perhaps less obvious comparison is Lars von Trier. Yes. Kingdom. Oh, gosh, no, I don't think so. I hope everyone you know, is a thank you for listening, I should say yes. Thank you for listening. Thank you for having me on. And I hope you'd like to retire. Tried and True or done to death. It was all a dream and anthology bad hard tropes done right revives even the most exhausted cliches was stories from some hearts biggest names like Gemma files to Benio Glacius and Haley Piper, it was all a dream, an anthology of Banhart tropes done right available anywhere you buy books online, use his code. This is hard for 20% Off to the month of October when you audit direct from Hungary shadow press.com There’s a couple of key things to note here. Firstly, there’s no cap on how low you can reduce a unit’s save. With enough rend and Wave of Terror results, you can absolutely strip a unit down to no save whatsoever.

Garth Marenghi’s TerrorTome – Book Tour – Comments

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Well, this has been a tremendous amount of fun chatting with you. I'd certainly like to do a Yeah, yeah. Thank you. I mean, I'd love to do it again. Sometime. There's still so much more. I'd like absolutely to so. Yeah. Wonderful. Would love to. All right, well, where can listeners connect with you? Because it’s dependent on audience input, this (overlong) section is inevitably a bit scrappy, especially after the comedy gold of the book reading. Though even here, Holness sometimes improvises the perfect answer. His suggestion for the woman who thought her cat possessed was brilliant: ‘Drop a sofa on it,’ he recommended. ‘If it stops mid-air, the cat is under a spell of protection.’ it. I've not written Yes. So so sorry. I know the one YouTube I haven't read. I've read that one. The other two at the moment, although I do have them but I have but I have read the Peter Cushing one. And it's yeah, it's wonderful.
