Plot: Sofia thought she had a wonderful relationship with her boyfriend Kyle, but he dumped her publicly for her best friend the summer before their senior year of high school. Kyle and his new girlfriend spend a lot of time at the house, and the only thing that makes it bearable is Kyle's older brother Josh, fresh out of prison. He's understanding and supportive, even when she goes a little wild and starts hooking up with an older biker - a friend with benefits who starts wanting more. With the addition of a surprise brother, a mystery plot, and a bunch of coincidences, Sofia has her hands full. I wanted to enjoy this book more after reading it but it felt a bit short towards the ending. Like time was running out and it had to end some type of way. I started skimming because I was getting bored with the repetition. Every chapter the h said “Kyle (her ex boyfriend) made me this way; I use to like school, but now I want to be bad.” 🙄🙄
