About this deal

Tests were done with a Khadas Toneboard DAC -> Schiit Asgard 3 amp, E1DA 9038, Questyle M15, Colorfly CDA M1, Tempotec Sonata HD Pro (BHD firmware mod), smartphone, and Sony NW A-55 DAP (Walkman One mod) using FLAC and WAV files. All products sold on Headphone Zone carry a GST compliant invoice and all products sold include an 18% GST. Instrument separation is precise and distinct with each instrument piping out clearly. The effect of that is that you get a mental image of the position of each instrument, which then lends to the perception of the stage. The stage is horizontally expansive and delightfully so. In using a newer nozzle filter that is what Letshuoer is doing to create a newer “pro” version by lowering these aspects for better balance but then you throw on a more resolving silver plated monocrystalline copper cable? You see what I am getting at? I suppose you have to be really into your cable pair ups to fully understand what I am talking about. Bright +more resolving cable = Brighter.

S12 Pro Edition Review » MOONSTAR Reviews LetShuoer S12 Pro Edition Review » MOONSTAR Reviews

The S12 features a custom-made 14.8mm planar driver. Its large diaphragm aims to deliver strong and impactful bass and clarity through its frequency response. Its high sensitivity and low impedance make the S12 easy to drive from most systems, whether that be from your phone, DAP, or small amplifier. I preferred using my S12 with its 4.4mm connectors, which is what most of this review will be based on. Soundstage CHI-FI competitors subsequently caught on – like a shark smelling blood – and had a FOMO (fear of missing out). They tried to muscle in on the planar pie, releasing the LETSHUOER S12, LETSHUOER Z12, Tin P1 Max, TRN Kirin, Muse HIFI Power, Moondrop Stellaris, CCA PLA13, KZ PR1 Balanced, and KZ PR1 HIFI. Thank you! I already had my eye on him but from my country (Spain is impossible) Akg does not ship here. I also tried to buy it from a shop here but they couldn’t bring it…The LetShuoer S12 Pro is an IEM with a small and lightweight monitor shell, which offers a pretty comfortable wearing experience with my average sized ear chonca. The passive noise isolation of the S12 Pro is on a sufficient level that is suitable for the use in relative noise environments such like a bus or a train. The lower midrange of the TiN HiFi P2 shows slightly less depth and intensity when I do listen to male voices or to instruments like guitars or cellos, while both are pretty similar in terms of clarity in this area. The upper midrange of the LetShuoer S12 is more highlighted and detailed compared the TiN HiFi P2 that is missing the clarity and extension that the S12 has when I do listen to female vocals or to pianos, violins and flutes.

LETSHUOER S12 Planar In-Ear Monitors Review | TechPowerUp

These earphones/IEMs are designed for discerning music lovers. If you are someone who cares about audio quality deeply, you'll want a pair of earphones/IEMs like these. You can expect them to present a Hi-Fidelity listening experience. The rear surface of monitors sports a serial number, the product branding and Left or Right markings in white color. Also included in the case is an assortment of accessories, including tips, cable, and case. The cable is copper, coated in high-purity silver. Like the Shuoer Tape Pro, the plastic wrap lends it added stiffness and, if you have smaller ears like I do, you’ll want to use the chin cinch to ensure it doesn’t tug the buds out of place. It connects to the earpieces using dual 0.78mm pins so is easily replaceable if you’d prefer something softer. The S12 Pros excel in its treble extension to my ears. The treble renders music with such openness but also very good resolution. What you get is shimmering, sparkle of minutia in your music, it just sounds great. As with the bass the treble stands out for the definition, naturalness, and decay of the notes. The LetShuoer S12 is the company’s latest In-Ear Monitor that is features a pretty large 14.8mm Diameter Planar Magnetic Driver, which is located inside a 5-axis CNC processed Aluminium Alloy Monitor shell that is equipped with a 2-Pin connector interface. The lower treble range of the original S12 sounds a tad more brightness and dynamism, compared to the S12 Pro version, which is a bit softer and forgiving in this area. Both are pretty equal in terms of upper treble extension and resolution, while the S12 Pro has the slightly edge in terms of authority when I listen to soprano voices or to instruments such like ride or crash cymbals. The first audible difference you will hear is that the TiN HiFi P2 needs a lot more power to be driven properly, while the LetShuoer S12 is much easier to driver. Instruments from pianos to cymbals, from flutes to cellos are reproduced in a pretty detailed and dynamic manner, while the extension and authority is quite decent compared to previous In-Ear Monitor with Planar Magnetic Driver that I have listen before.

S12 Pro Review - Major HiFi Letshuoer S12 Pro Review - Major HiFi

Personally, I hooked up the new TC44Pro – review incoming – and the end result was dang impressive! The S12 PRO has a minimalistic industrial appearance with a smooth space-blue finish and excellent workmanship. Treble: Treble performance on the S12 is good and a bit brighter than the Timeless. I sound like a broken record, but I prefer this enhancement as it increases the amount of perceived detail and steps percussion forward in the mix. I didn’t find the S12 to be fatiguing as a result, which just shows how well-tuned it really is. Increasing treble is a common way to give the impression of more detail, but in this case, I think Shuoer has succeeded in actually delivering it, while also raising the dB on the high-end.The detachable comes with an interchangeable headphone plug design, which is an Exclusive design choice for the S12 Pro. The overall tuning is balanced and natural with good sub-bass extension, an even mid-range and a well extended but not fatiguing treble. The S12 PRO is resolving, crystal clear and transparent in the mid-range with a natural voicing that is combined with the already excellent bass performance to make for an immersive and realistic listening experience perfectly suitable for classical music and not only.
