One thing to note about this weed killer is that it doesn’t work especially fast. To kill the roots, it needs around 3-4 weeks. While the weeds do start to wilt within a few hours, it takes 7 days before I actually felt the weed killer was working! Roundup ProActive is a systemic penetrant total herbicide containing 360 g/l glyphosate for the control of annual & perennial grasses and most broad-leaved weeds on ground prior to the planting of crops, around amenity vegetation, in forests and on tree stumps, for destruction of grassland, and on hard, permeable and natural surfaces. Five litres of Roundup ProActive 360 covers 0.5 ha to 3.8 ha at a rate of 1.3-10 L/ha. This easy mix liquid concentrate formulation is approved for use all around the garden, on gravel areas, paths, drives and along fences. It can be used to clean up weedy areas before planting vegetables, flowers, shrubs and to renovate overgrown areas. Apply by using a garden sprayer.
