Mouse Guard is set in a world of sapient mice who live in a medieval era, paralleling the same age in human history, though in their world there are no humans. Its stories revolve around a brotherhood of mice known as the "Mouse Guard" who have sworn an oath to serve their fellow civilian mice in times of need, including making safe passage for them through the wilderness and protecting them from predators. [1]Due to high demand and low print runs ( Mouse Guard: Fall 1152 issue #1 was produced in a quantity of 8,000 copies), Archaia Studios Press has made various reprintings of issues as they have gone out of print. Chapter 9, explores “Abilities and Skills” in detail. The Abilities are Nature, Will, Health, (material) Resources, and (social) Circles. The second part of the chapter examines the character sheet of our first sample mouse, Sadie, line by line. The sheet itself not only includes character information, but it serves as a rules reference as well, which is not just useful for newcomers! The number and type of dice that you will need varies from game to game. To get started it is best to have one complete set of dice. A complete set includes: a coin (d2), four-sided (d4), six-sided (d6), eight-sided (d8), ten-sided (d10), twelve-sided (d12), twenty-sided (d20), and a percentile (d%). Critical reception was strong, with the Mouse Guard Roleplaying Game winning numerous industry awards.
