First things first: combine the light brown sugar and honey together in a saucepan over medium heat until they dissolve completely. Then add your choice of whiskey to the pan before stirring through the oregano, thyme, and nutmeg. Reduce the mixture to low heat and let simmer for 10 minutes before straining into a jug or bottle using cheesecloth or paper towel as needed.
