About this deal

As mentioned, these pellets are well made and 100% consistent in terms of their weight, but the head size of my pellets was quite small and they did feel a bit loose in all three barrels.

From this chart, it’s clear that more power would be useful – both in achieving a flatter trajectory across a longer range, as well as greater terminal ballistics – as indicated in the “Hunting Use” section below. These pellets have performed exceptionally across the variety of air rifles that I have fired them from. With accuracy and chronograph data at hand, I set out to prove that more than 880 fps could result in a half-inch at 25 yards. Though I am not the most brilliant shot, I achieved 1 inch at 45 yards on a windy range. The HW100 was shot supported by Dog-Gone-Good shooting bags at both the front and rear, rested on a bench. With the barrel cleaned and re-leaded, the pellets were run over my Shooting Chrony F1 chronograph, with the Hades and HW delivering a velocity spread of a mere 4.8 feet per second over a 10-shot string, another excellent result, again proving how well these pellets are made. But these days we’re seeing a blurring of the lines between a hunting pellet and target ammo, and JSB itself points out that the Hades isn’t just for hunting. This pellet is made by the well-known JSB brand, perfectly manufactured to give the best shooting experience. The Hades features a specially designed hollow-point top that maximises expansion.

Air Arms Diabolo Field As we can see from the Chairgun chart below, 40% of the initial Muzzle Energy has already been lost at 40 Yards. That drop had increased to 50% a little further on at 54 Yards. As with all Crosman air gun ammunition, their ultra magnum .22 pellets exemplify the top-notch reliability and performance that is synonymous with the brand. Every pellet is crafted using precision tooling, promising an unparalleled degree of quality and consistency from one tin to the next. 5. JSB HadesThe manufacturer highlights the extreme expansion in the target as a key feature of these pellets. That’s also exactly true. Pest controllers and hunters have a favorite in the JSB Hades pellet, due to its accuracy and expansion capabilities. JSB Hades Comprehensive Description

I surmised that the speed was inappropriate, and with the right combination, I am sure I can get dimes at 50 yards. Note that accuracy is a product of the complete “system” of airgun, scope, atmospheric conditions and shooter ability – not the pellet alone. Both beginners and expert shooters alike trust Air Arms Diabolo Field pellets for their excellent performance and reliability. Their performance in both hunting small game and competitive shooting settings makes them a highly versatile choice in the .22 pellets market. 3. RWS SuperdomeI found the Hade being the most effective, combined with my .22 caliber Wildcat Compact Mk II. My preferred air gunhas put thousands of these pellets through the motions for vermin control. The JSB Hades 15.89 grain, 5.5 mm pellets are good, except on my P-Rod. Using its current settings, I couldn’t get perfect groupings.
