About this deal

It gets plenty loud filling the room with good control, but it’s not hard to hear when you reach the higher distortion levels. It pairs better with bookshelves on the desk, and more than plenty for this application. It drives the Behringer Truth 2030P to deafening levels at <3m. Bluetooth while it sounds clean (little or no noise compared to the A07 Pro) it just supports the SBC codec (so no AAC or LDAC) It’s definitely portable. If you’re thinking of taking the Fosi Audio TB10D on the road, it would fit neatly in a laptop bag, a carry-on, or a suitcase, depending on where you’re heading. Build quality feels great overall, but with such budget items I guess time will tell. The on/off switch is sturdy, and the volume and tone controls are smooth in use. I personally use banana plugs on my speaker cables, when the terminals are tight together like on the TB10D is does make it neater. The RCA inputs are fine and the aluminium casing does well to dissipate heat as well as making the device look sleek. Functionality

Fosi Audio V3 review: affordable Class D gets serious Fosi Audio V3 review: affordable Class D gets serious

I attached the Q Acoustic 3010s to the Fosi Audio TB10B. After a few minutes of listening, and a little bit of tweaking with the bass and treble pots, I have to say that I was floored at how much more bottom end I could get out of my Q Acoustic bookshelves with the Fosi Audio, compared with the Denon. During inflationary (or recessionary) times, it can be "recommended' to go w/cheaper or non name-branded items because food is a necessity. They’re certainly well-made for car stereos. But having run the TB10D through a couple of sets of different speakers, including the Q Acoustic 3010 and an Energy Tower set, this thing has enough power to make most speakers sound pretty good.

I would highly recommend the Fosi Audio TB10D to anyone looking for a budget stereo amp, whose needs extend as far as having a source that can be put through a stereo RCA input. I know other reviewers had valid issues with the original version of this amp, but Fosi Audio seems to have rectified whatever the problem was on the early generation. While I wish the power supply was certified by a NRTL, at least it can be swapped out for something else in the event it fails. I've owned/used 10 different Asian-made Class D amp over the past years, and when I received this new updated version of the Fosi Audio TB10D, I immediately discovered that it has a sound signature similar to many of the models out there with the Texas Instruments TPA3255 amplifier chip - that is dynamic and a bit warmer and fuller. Like select models using this TPA3255 chip, the user has the ability to use power supplies ranging from 24-48V varieties and the higher you go, the more wattage the amp is capable of putting out.But the Kenwood has been a friend for decades, how can I toss it out just because it’s getting cranky in it’s old age? I conducted a comparison between the Onkyo RZ50 in pure output mode (RCA) and the BT30D Pro (RCA), both using RP5000F towers and an amp selector switch. I was unable to hear any difference between them, which is good news. It appears that the well-implemented TPA3255 chip sounds the same in all cases. Living in Glasgow, Scotland but born and raised near Milan, Italy, I got the passion for music listening as a legacy from my father and my grandfather. Fosi Audio V3 is a mini HiFi class-D power amplifier tailored for audiophiles by Fosi Audio based on the voice of users. This is a pure amplifier designed only for high-fidelity sound enjoyment. Thank you fore reading my review of the Fosi TB10D amplifier. Get it from FOSI AUDIO Store or at participating retailers.

Fosi Audio TB10D

As expected, due to the lower damping factor compared to the A7, there's a little more variation in the frequency response when presented with a reactive load like the Sony speakers. Still very minor fluctuations until above 2kHz where the output impedance starts to rise. Like the AOSHIDA, it looks like this amp aims to be flat measured into 4Ω.A tiny stereo amplifier designed to be connected to unpowered speakers seems an odd thing, as you aren’t often called upon to produce an amp while you are out and about, except perhaps a headphone amp which the Fosi Audio TB10D TPA3255 is not. Then again, there is an attractiveness to having a portable 600W amp, or one that takes up a minuscule amount of space on a shelf. Considering the variety of products Fosi Audio sells there must be something to this. I am not sure quite what I was expecting but it wasn't this, it sounds great, not going to get too techy about these things but can I hear everything? yes, is it loud enough for my small (11'x10') room? my goodness yes, though of course there has to be some consideration for the neighbours. Bluetooth implementation is clean - IMO this is better than the A07 Pro (which was very noisy in the model I have) This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items.

Fosi Audio TB10D review: positively deceptive

Just buy more sensitive speaker if you need more power , something like tekton https://tektondesign.com/ It’s also worth noting that the Fosi TB10D does not have bluetooth connection. I will explain this more in comparing this amp with the BT20A below. The Fosi Audio TD10D is a little powerhouse. While the tuning is a little bit stoic and austere for me in the mid range, the bottom end is full and rich, plus the overall sound production is really nice. One thing that is not often discussed regarding mini class-D amps is thermal management. I was planning to delve further into this issue. I encountered multiple thermal protections being triggered on the chip while using it at full power (160w rms 2ch) on 4 ohm loads for about 5 minutes. The enclosure was warm, but not hot. However, when I ran the amp again with the PCB exposed, I was able to measure the temperature of the aluminum heatsink. The bottom line is for the price, it sounds great and is tiny and out of the way, built-in power might be nice but really not the end of the world and it takes a little time to get used to the fact that the bass and treble controls are the "wrong" way around. The high-efficient 2.0CH 300Wx2 desktop power amplifier can drive almost home large passive bookshelf speakers ensuring top-notch sound quality and is compatible with most sound equipment such as computers, DVDs, CD players, PC, laptops, TV, etc.
