About this deal

Despite its popularity with shoppers, we didn't make M&S a WRP this year because of its poor value for money. However, we didn't make it a WRP this year, because it's consistently the second most expensive supermarket in our monthly price comparison. These must be such beautiful little bags. Such a treat to receive them. Thank you so much for using my recipe and letting me know 🙂 Dried fruits – the only limit is your imagination. Try dried blueberries, figs, apricots, cranberries – I even saw some bright red dried paw paw in the shop today that would look gorgeous. Make sure the fruit is chopped no larger than a raisin. Looking for the best-value frozen fish to get your Friday night fish and chips fix for less? We've found the best supermarket options.

If you’re in Florence on the first Saturday of the month, you can’t miss this popular outdoor food market held in the central Piazza della Repubblica. Around a hundred organic producers from within one kilometre of the city limits come together to showcase their goods, which include honey, olive oil, wines, cheeses, herbs and handmade pasta. For those who did their shopping in-store, we asked them to rate the shop's appearance is as well as queuing times. We also asked whether there are friendly staff available to help with any queries. Some brands are also healthier than others: Young's has the most calories and salt per 100g, and it's also gone big on the saturated fat too, with more than twice as much as all the other fillets we tried. By contrast Morrisons is a healthier choice but still fares well for taste. How to cook battered fish filletsAldi is the only in-store supermarket to have been named a WRP this year. It came joint-second with Waitrose was the highest-rated for value for money along with fellow discounter Lidl – both were got four stars out of five. Aldi received five stars for value for money last year, but no supermarket did this time.

Recycling isn't the only consideration if you're looking to make eco-friendly choices – you'll also want to make sure the fish was sustainably sourced.Made these yesterday and they are absolutely delicious! Didn’t have any issue getting the cooked florentines off the baking paper or out of the tin. Thank you for another really lovely recipe. Have made a few of your recipes now and am yet to have any flops 🙂 x The oldest, largest and most famous market in Florence sits undercover inside a striking building which dates from the turn of the last century when the city was Italy’s capital. Designed by architect Giovanni Mengoni, who was also behind the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, the building has two floors with distinctly different architectural styles, atmospheres, and produce for sale.

Tesco came top, with items lasting almost 11 days, on average. Waitrose was at the bottom of the table, with items lasting an average of 8.6 days. Florence also has many supermarkets and grocery stores, where you can find quality Italian products at prices you won’t find anywhere else in the world. If you find yourself in the large Cascine park on a Tuesday morning, you can’t miss this enormous market that sports hundreds of stalls selling food, clothes, shoes, bags, and household products. Definitely the largest and cheapest market in Florence, you will find absolutely everything here! Visiting Le Cascine is the perfect way to spend a morning if you’re looking to get out of the hectic central area and see a different side to Florence. It’s a down-to-earth affair but the quality of the produce for sale is, as at any Italian food market, always extremely high. We also asked how satisfied shoppers are on the whole with their supermarket and whether they would recommend it. These two questions allow us to calculate our Which? customer scores.Chewy almond, candied peel, sunflower seed and sultana discs, enriched with butter and whipping cream I love your recipe for Florentines. I modify by using pepitas and cranberries. This time I’ve even added salty caramel shaved coconut😲
