The bottle is nice i think. Wore it at home most. It stays on me until few days after,so this is good. Even if im soon 40 i will still wear it now and again.

It's rumored the original has oakmoss in its base. I do believe it because there's a richer depth and damp earthiness present not found in the current. I find the bigger problem with this being shown as something “ inspirational” and a way to “ belong“. Amber fragrance with floral notes. Rich, sensual, encourages you to bold and straightforward actions, it makes you feel free and energetic. Dance! The top notes are mandarin leaves and mulberry flowers; Night Queen Flower, Bulgarian rose and orange flower are in the heart; the base is created with Bourbon vanilla, sandal wood and Tonka bean. The perfume was created by Thierry Wasser in 2002. don’t compete with others, and what others have and share online. I wore her in my early 20’s. Long before I understood fragrance. But even at that time, she was like that bossy friend everyone can appreciate. She put a veil of protection over my timid self. Enveloping me with a confidence only 10 years of life experience could secure. I loved her for it. Her guts...stamina...beauty.

As someone who has been a fragrance collector for many years now, I can positively say that fragrance addiction is a real thing that shouldn’t be ignored. I've always been into Oriental fragrances, but this is the most unique fragrance I have ever smelled. Addict to my nose, is quite a warm, sensual, but understandable fragrance. It isn't swoon-worthy to me, nor is it insane if undersprayed or applied moderately. I actually do not feel as if this pushes boundaries now in today's climate, but it could've been that way in it's early years (nearly 2 whole dang decades ago). I don't really feel as if it's overtly sexy, but I don't profess to understand the mind of a heterosexual male and their preferences, and won't argue with it. *I* don't feel any type of way in this, merely comfortable and warm. It's a cozy fragrance (this is very, very similar to my thoughts on Armani Code Pour Femme...and they have an extremely similar personality). The blast of white floral to begin with settles to a heavy vanilla based dry down on me, which I find comforting and warm. I love vanilla based Perfumes though but I know they are not to everyone's taste. This gives strong, feminine, mysterious, indepependent, confident vibes. It's sexy, but not "date night" sexy for me, more boss lady sexy. Like I imagine a female CEO wearing this. Dior Addict starts with a whiff of fresh mandarin and then goes onto intense orange blossom & jasmine. Addict easily could have been an exclusive release, and a good one. It takes you on a long journey from its pleasantly sharp green opening,

According to Health Impact News article, “Fragrances contain chemicals that have narcotic-like properties. The substances might not produce a traditional narcotic high, but they do cause dependency, which triggers the need for repeated use of the product to avoid the discomfort and irritability of withdrawal.” Start a new cost-free hobby like for example exercising, reading, or learning a new language until this period ends

I've had mine for many years and always thought it was too much. But now it's becoming mor age-appropriate for me. It's a mature scent. I cannot believe I am at the point where something I wore in my 20s is being called “vintage,” kind of like 90s clothing is to my 15 year old daughter who wears it like it’s an interesting accessory today.

Slightly masculine, very sensual..not blossomy, not fruity like some other fragrances, while not over spiced. Believing that you’ll find your signature perfume via fragrance community pressure and that you have to have and know every new release ain’t the right way. Such a shame it has been reformulated and, not for the better as far as I am concerned. I am fortunate that I bought a very large bottle just prior to reformulation and have kept it for going out. Nearly done now. ☹️. Go completely dark on any fragrance information for at least six months(deactivate or delete accounts)what I am doing is finding out the notes of all the perfumes I already have and finding out what notes they have in common so I know what I like the most.
