For stropping and sharpening serrations, you perform the same steps as sharpening the blade but only in a downward motion. This makes sense as you wouldn’t want to cut into the leather strop. I find it really impressive that Work Sharp thought to include a strop. As a big believer in stropping your knives regularly, I’m a fan of this feature. The Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener Mk.2 is a more advanced and versatile sharpener than the original model it replaces.
